Other restorers told me they might have trouble with the intensity of the shadows and working around the text but Richard had no problem at all. M.30yr pic, really yellowed with time so wasnt hopeful for best results BUT WOW !! Amazing so returned with an even bigger challenge: 57yr pic, so dark, blurred image not a good pic from the start Flippin amazing - we were able to identify from the background that the pic was actually taken top of Queen St, Aucks City back in the mid 40,s. 3rd time we used Pixel Fix was to resize digital images - service is prompt as always & pay system is so easy & hassle free - just what you need after a late nite at the office & trying to tick off stuff to do in your personal life, wish more services were this hassle free :)

C.I found a small, torn, badly marked and scratched colour photo at my mother-in-law's home that depicted my wife Charmaine and I on our wedding day in 1972.
The photo is special because, although taken by a friend using a small Instamatic camera as we sat in the wedding car, it is the only colour photo we have of our wedding because all the professionally-taken colour photos did not come out due to a fault with the photographer's camera.
I took the damaged small photo to Richard at PixelFix and he restored it beautifully to the stage where he was able to provide us with an enlarged print within a nice white frame which has pride of place on our mantelpiece.
I presented it to Charmaine for our wedding anniversary and she was absolutely thrilled with the superbly restored and vastly improved photo.

t.I presented Richard with two aerial photos of our farm. One dating from maybe the 1950s or 60s was originally B&W and then hand painted to provide colour. The second was from the 70s and badly faded. Both had been hanging in the garage for the last 20 years and were not in great shape. Richard scanned the photos, restored them and printed them on canvas. They are now beautiful testaments to the 3 generations who have lived on the farm.
