J.From the first email to Acorn we felt so welcomed, and like nothing was an issue. Kristy was quick to respond and answered all our questions. From there meeting Erin and Rochelle on our wedding day we all felt like we were in safe hands. Our family commented how professional and fun Erin was, and they were also helpful and calming to be around on the day. The ones that we "didn't think would work out" turned out to be our absolute favourite! Cannot recommend Acorn enough, thank you guys for travelling down to Southland for our wedding day and your high quality photos we will treasure xx

The Acorn team are truly talented and have a creative eye, capturing special moments in their own unique way. It’s so beautiful. They are incredibly thoughtful. They do so much research and really plan the perfect shoot for your wedding.

N.10 Stars and 2 Thumbs Up! My Husband and I, had an incredibly spectacular Spring wedding day in the Catlins. Erin and Ron, captured the entire day beautifully in both photographs and in video, complete with drone. We are so thrilled to have been able to have the chance to have them capture our magical day in such detail and emotion. We watch our wedding video often, and every time without fail, will brings tears of joy to our eyes. Ron did a fantastic job! it is of such cinematic quality and professionalism that blows us and anyone we show it to away. Erin's photography is so beautiful and of magazine quality. She makes you feel comfortable and feel like a glamorous celebrity. Their skills combined as a package, makes for one truly amazing experience that we can keep reliving whenever we want and it allows us to relive the beautiful day all over again. I would highly recommend going for both photography and cinema options to capture your wedding or special event, I am sooooooo sooo glad that we did! The price tag is easily justifiable and value for money! I even put together a photo book of our wedding for our one year wedding anniversary for my husband. E.Erin was our photographer for our wedding in August 2019. Being in the wedding industry myself I see a lot of wedding photos as part of my daily working life. I am so eternally grateful to Erin for being our photographer and capturing our beautiful day for us to cherish forever. Such crazy beautiful images which had us in tears. Her photography style is timeless - its contemporary but it will never date. We love Erin and could not recommend her enough X LOVE
C.The two words that come to mind with acorn photography is professionalism and fun. We had these guys shoot our wedding and just had a blast with them! They took us to some superb spots for shots and they're places now that we've gone back to since then to reminisce. The end product were epic photos and memories of our wedding with sweet little touches that demonstrate a passion for quality and service. Erin is great chat and brings a vivaciousness to her work that makes even the coldest, chilliest Dunedin wedding day photo shoot feel fun and sunny (true story)!
A.We approached Erin when we saw her work on Instagram. She had photographed a not very "weddingly" wedding and it grabbed our attention!
On our return from the U.K. we met with Erin and were introduced to Ron & Amanda.It was easy to chat, we clicked and the conversation flowed easily & a little off topic!
We had an engagement shoot in the Catlins which was an amazing experience. We would thoroughly recommend doing an engagement shoot as this will give you some more time to hang out and get to know Erin. This will also get you used to being in front of a lens, learning how to move to enable Erin to get all the shots!
Six months after our return from overseas Acorn shot our wedding Feb 2019. They were professional, had great communication leading up to and on the day of our wedding. We had a small very intimate wedding which suited their style as they got to know everyone.
The next day Erin and Ron drove us up central for a creative shoot at St Bathans. The shots were incredible and we couldn’t be happier with the two days of photos.
Ron produced some amazing cinematography over the two days. He was able to use a drone to capture dramatic landscapes and when this was woven in and edited with his other footage it was just perfect.
We would have no hesitation to recommend the Acorn team to any one looking for the best experience on your wedding day (or any other day)!

L.From the very first email I sent Acorn Photography and Cinema we have had nothing but excellent communication. Constant emails back and forth letting me know that my wedding video would be in good hands! The first email I sent to them was only 10 days before our wedding as I had a change of mind on getting a videographer. On the actual wedding day Ron arrived and did a fabulous job at seemlessly fitting into the role as we didn’t even notice he was there the majority of the time! We opted to purchase both the highlights video and the raw cuts and we could not be happier with the final result! Both videos portray the amazing day we had with perfection. I could t have asked for a better company to hire for the biggest day of our life! Thanks to Erin, Dave and Ron for being fantastic!
