T.Brogan is incredible at what she does! Everyone needs to have a Brogan in their life!
I tell everyone and anyone that will listen to me about our wedding photographer! From the first email I sent until the special 'post wedding' package that arrived on my doorstep with our wedding album and 'extras'. We were so impressed to have our photos back so quickly and they were incredible.
Her professionalism was faultless and her communication was even better. We are so thankful that we chose Brogan to capture our day. She really is amazing and everyone should book her for their own special moments to be captured! Brogan had thought of everything and was so helpful when I was unsure. As part of our package we got an engagement shoot. These too are photos we will treasure forever because she got so many special moments with our little girl. We love looking through our wedding album and seeing different photos each time, she really did capture our day beautifully including all the little details. Her easy going nature put me at ease on my wedding day when she reminded me that it was about us and there was no time restraints, just go with it!

M.We decided to use Kiwi Captures as our wedding photographer after seeing some of her work in friends wedding and maternity photos. I loved how she managed to capture not only pretty photos, but the true face of my friends.
On our wedding day, I was a bit worried we would be aquward infront of the camera; as my husband and I are not used to having our photos taken. Luckily Brogan is a pro and made us feel very at ease, infact half the time we didn't even notice she was there. S.Oh my gosh where to start! We had the best experience working with Brogan. The photos turned out absolutely amazing! Communication and planning was super easy. We were both a bit nervous never having photos taken professionally and thought that might show through in the photos, but Brogan is incredibly easy to work with, she made us both feel relaxed and comfortable and we quickly forgot she was snapping away with her camera. R.I’m never sure how to begin reviews, so we’ll just go with this: Brogan captured our anniversary in New Zealand in such an amazing way that I can say with confidence that our children will flip through these images one day; like, our wedding photos will be in a photo album somewhere as well, but we’ll probably show them these first Haha she EASILY captured our favorite photos ever taken of us (side note: we hate being in front of the camera lol) Brogan was not only able to coach us into natural, romantic poses, but also allowed our goofy personalities to show through and capture the emotions we had throughout our entire once-in-a-lifetime trip to the South Island! As photographers ourselves, my husband and I understand how difficult it can be to capture emotion and not just “pretty pictures”; Brogan absolutely knocked it out of the park!! Despite the time difference between our two locations (18 hours to be exact), Brogan was in constant communication with us prior to our trip. She helped educate us on various location options and helped us narrow down a spot that was perfect for the style we were hoping for! Not only did she meet us where we were at that stage in our road trip, she did it before the sun had even risen!! She met us at our hotel in Queenstown and drove us to a beautiful spot in the mountains, just in time for an incredible sunrise. She was even prepared for the freezing temperatures and brought a blanket for me to use between shots! (Sometimes beauty really IS pain; I just HAD to rock a summer dress in the winter… We felt like instant friends with Brogan and even grabbed a well-deserved breakfast together afterwards! We’re firm believers in capturing your travels in photo form rather than a souvenir magnet or shot glass; adventure-loving photographers like Brogan make this possible! S.We chose Brogan to take some family photos and it was the best decision ever! Going out in the middle of winter with two young children is always a bit nerve-wracking and I was worried this might translate to our pictures, but as soon as I talked with Brogan we made a plan and that worry turned to excitement. We had a last minute change of location due to the wild wintery weather and that was no issue at all.
Our session was so much fun. Brogan knew exactly where in the park to take us, including a few spots we'd never considered! Everyone had a great time and we enjoyed exploring the park as a family with Brogan capturing all kinds of fun interactions and special little moments, especially of the kids, and I know for sure we'll treasure looking back on these pictures forever!
This was our second time working with Brogan after she took amazing unicorn photos for our daughter's birthday last year, these were a REALLY special treat, and we know we'll be coming back again in the future. N.How can we even begin to explain how amazing Brogan has been over our wedding experience.
Before we booked Brogan as our photographer we were anxious about feeling awkward getting our photos taken and not knowing what to do with a camera in our face. After falling in love with Kiwi captures on Instagram we decided to book her in for our wedding photographer. Straight away Brogan made us feel comfortable and at ease. She was always friendly in her emails and responded straight away and answered any questions we had no matter how silly they were. Brogan is situated in Invercargill however was more than happy to travel for our wedding in Wanaka.
We first met Brogan with our engagement photo shoot that came with our package this was the best option as we were able to get to know her and see how she works. We instantly felt at ease and as if we had known Brogan forever, she was friendly and professional. She went through all elements to get photos on the beach with us and they came out better then we could ever expect.
On our wedding day Brogan and Amy were on time and ready to get photographing. It was surprising how much you don’t notice the camera there and to see what amazing photos can be captured in real time. Not once did Brogan make us fake it or pose and instead let us be natural and comfortable which can be seen in the photos we received. Brogan was calm and professional on the wedding day which made for a smooth easy day with no need for a bridezilla moment. Brogan was very fast at getting us photos after the wedding and we really couldn’t ask for anyone better. The photos are beautiful quality and have turned out more than perfect for us to share our memories forever.
We honestly could not recommend Brogan enough as a Wedding photographer.
K.A big concern my partner had about wedding photographers was that they would try to boss us around for photos, I knew this wouldn't be the case with Brogan at all! She was so great to work with leading up to the big day. Answering any questions clearly and as detailed as my wedding file I had on hand for the day! The day was an absolute dream and although we ran a little late (which is not something I'd normally like!) it was entirely worth it for the incredible moments she and Amy captured. Those images truly are gifts my family and I will cherish for all the years to come, it was the best day of my life to date and I couldn't have imagined anything better than the pictures I have forever now. Anyone who is on the fence with their decision, jump over! Brogan and Amy are both incredibly talented, fun, easy going, professional and all round wonderful people to share your day with and I would recommend them to anyone I can! H.Brogan is AWESOME! Her photos are AMAZING! Our biggest concerns prior to the photo shoot was that we didn't want your usual family style portrait pictures. We wanted fun, movement and natural! When I read Brogan's bio and saw pictures she had taken I knew she was going to be perfect for our family! We are also probably a bit awkward in front of the camera so needed some direction too! Brogan was super quick in her communication with us, she listened to what we were after and I was excited prior to the shoot! Brogan was professional yet casual and made us all feel at ease! (That is big as my husband is not a photo person at all!) We had soo many laughs on the evening of the shoot. We love our phots, they are fun, natural and exactly what we hoped for. We would absolutely, definitely recommend Brogan from Kiwi Captures! We would definitely have her take photos for us again!

B.Wow!! Blown away with kiwi captures , Brogan is an absolute dream to work with and incredible at her job. We feel privileged to have had such a great team capture our wedding day, they were super relaxed, flexible and equally professional. O.I don't even know where to start on how INCREDIBLE Brogan is.
One of the biggest concerns I think when booking a photographer is are you getting what they are promising? In Brogans case you are getting so, so much more.
I can't fault her communication and professionalism, and she is just the nicest person to be around. For 10 + hours she worked non stop to capture the most breathtaking photos from our day.
I have no idea on where to start to pick out just a few to print they are all just so beautiful! And the amazing package that arrives on your doorstep after is just so thoughtful!
If you are on the fence about hiring don't give it another thought, it is a decision you will not regret.

We got married in October 2019 and I decided Brogan was the photographer for us after looking through her amazing photo gallery. I was really drawn to the artistic flair and moodiness of her work.
We've never had professional photos taken before and were all a bit nervous about being models! Brogan insisted we do the engagement shoot that was included in our package and we're so pleased we did. She was great at directing us and putting us in natural positions that didnt look like we were posing.
We really pushed Brogan and Amy to the limits on our wedding day. We had so much going on including being on top of a mountain in a hurricane, aerobatic display, burnouts, we were pushed for time and my wedding party were all over the place! I couldnt believe my eyes when we got the photos back! Despite the pressure we put them under they delivered the most amazing arty, magazine worthy wedding photos I've ever seen! Theyve captured the emotion, the small details, the whole story and not one boring photo amongst the 600 on the USB stick. Not only did Brogan deliver amazing photographs, the care and attention that went into putting together the final delivered package was above and beyond! Plus she was way ahead of the date she said she'd have them to us.
I highly recommend hiring Brogan for your special occasion if you want jaw-dropping photos and a fun relaxed photographer who doesnt mind going the extra mile to get that amazing angle.
L.We chose Brogan for our adventure session photo shoot because we loved her natural style of photography.
We wanted some amazing shots with our red kombi van in the hills of Alexandra - because that's who we are and what we're about. We've not had photos taken of us together since our wedding day and I think it's important to create memories throughout your life together.
But we're not at ease in front of the camera - so that was an initial concern when we wanted to have natural looking photos. Brogan is awesome though at just making the whole session feel like we're out having an adventure together as a couple with our bestie along! We ended up in sitting in our van at the end with the heater on to warm up after it got cold, just chatting with her about all sorts.
You don't have to put on make-up, get your hair done, wear you glam clothes (unless you want to!) That's not us, and that's what we loved about our photo shoot.

J.Brogan was the photographer we chose for our helicopter elopement in Fiordland. An elopement is super intimate and when having a wedding with such few people around, every single person is memorable. Brogan fit right into the setting and was awesome, fun, friendly, kind and flexible. She completely understood what we were after. The couple of days we had with her (cause our wedding day wasn't the mountain wedding we hoped for, and we got to fly the next day too) was awesome. She had us completely at ease and even took away the stress of coordinating with Fiordland Helicopters (who are also great) for us when the weather was looking dicey for our wedding day. The turnaround time was great and our photos and the album she put together for us were fantastic, of great quality and truly captured our day and what we were all about.

K.There isn't anyone out there in the country like Brogan at kiwi captures. Choosing her was easy and everything that followed to the day my photos arrived (way ahead of the expected time fram) was just as easy! Her style is creative and stunning and so so personal. Her talent is unreal. We were so glad to have her at our day she was honestly like one of our friends and she did not disappoint when those photos arrived they were outstanding! She manages to capture everything we hoped for and more, finding a photographer that's as professional and produces this kind of quality is not usually this affordable either, yet another amazing surprise. K.My boyfriend and I were flying to Queenstown from Sydney to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. I wanted to capture our first overseas trip together by organising a photoshoot. I felt apprehensive when reaching out to Brogan as I wasn’t sure how easy it would be to arrange a photoshoot in another country. Brogan put my mind to ease and promptly answered all of my questions. I really appreciated her wonderful location suggests as well as her advice on what to/what not to wear as I really had no idea what to expect going into this.
On the day everything ran like clock work. Brogan picked my boyfriend and I up from our hotel and we all travelled together to each location. It was so incredible that she offered us transport as we weren’t renting a car at the time and were concerned about how much an uber would cost.
My boyfriend and I are by no means models so we weren’t sure how the shoot was going to play out but Brogan made us feel so comfortable every step of the way! We had an absolute blast and loved working with Brogan. Thank you Brogan for such a memorable time together! I would highly recommend this experience to anyone!
A.Brogan took a group of us out for a 1-day workshop of guided shooting around the Catlins. We packed a lot in, we visited 4 iconic locations, with plenty of time to try different setups, ask questions, and learn from Brogan's experience with her easy-going but professional teaching style and I would recommend this experience to other aspiring photographers.
