Our wedding journey was definitely a unique one with a few different celebrations at different points of time. However we knew that our last celebration would be the one we'd do for us -- the way we wanted & for the people we wanted. Being both wedding photographers ourselves we would always get asked, "who is going to take photos for your wedding?!" & "where is it going to be?!". After shooting our own clients' weddings for 4 years we had come to realize what was most important to us in the idea of a wedding. Being in the presence of our closest family & friends surrounded entirely by the natural beauty of this world. New Zealand was where we had imagined saying our vows so it was a literal dream come true to see it all unfold there. James totally took on our insane idea of choosing our wedding location without us ever visiting it beforehand. We loved the challenge of getting married somewhere both we & he had never shot before, and somewhere that wasn't necessarily a traditional wedding venue. We knew right away that we would trust his ideas & vision in helping us to craft an unforgettably adventurous intimate destination wedding -- and we were 100% right. It was soooo wonderful to relax, enjoy our day & leave the documentation up to someone else for a change. To this day all of our family & friends who attended are hoping they'll get to take part in another epic trip together. The best part of it all is that we have some amazing photos to look back on for years to come. When we were planning our wedding we looked at the things we felt were most important to us, photography was high on the list and we set about finding someone whose style we liked, felt natural and unique. When we came across Chasewild we really wanted to secure a booking, it was perfect for us and after speaking with Cameron we knew he understood what we were looking for. We didn't want just endless group shots and standard photos, we wanted to capture images that were personal to us and reflected the experience. If you are looking for a wedding photographer I highly recommend Cameron from Chasewild. Photos were really important to us on our wedding day and we wanted photos that were different to what we had seen shot in our location before. Cameron certainly delivered on this and we have had so many compliments on our beautiful photos, especially from our wedding vendors who have seen hundreds of wedding albums before. All the photos looked cohesive despite being shot in very different locations so this is also a plus if this applies to your wedding day.

The BEST photographer around! We met up with Cameron and explained our vision for our pre-wedding shoot and he completely exceeded our expectations! Our friends and family were absolutely in love with the images as well! They turned out cinematic yet subtle. Cameron from Chasewild is an extraordinary photographer - he has a great eye for light & framing the picture. Beyond the artistic side, he made us feel so comfortable and really made an effort to get to know us as a couple. Loved having James capture our special day, it was made even more special by Covid-19 gathering restrictions.
