We had the most amazing photo shoot experience with Ruchika and DJ. Such a warm and friendly people who goes out of their ways to make you feel comfortable during the entire session. I was very nervous doing a photo shoot with 6 month old but Ruchika and DJ made the whole process so joyful. My bub never cried once. Thorough professional and very creative with their ideas. They really try to bring the best out of you from their camera lens. I had a great time so did my entire family. I am definitely recommending them to everyone. Thank you Ruchika and DJ.

We chose Ruchika for a maternity shoot last year and it was a good decision. We were extremely happy with our photos and had a wonderful experience working with her and DJ. I can’t even explain how wonderful the pictures are, we were blown away by the quality. Ruchika, Dj and their team made our wedding day so memorable. Even before our wedding day, they paid a lot of attention to the details. They took the time to personally get to know us better, discussing what our personal interests were, our families and friends. With this in mind, we figured out what's most important to us so that it can be photographed on the day. On the wedding day itself, they were prompt and professional. They made our guests feel comfortable, creating fantastic scenes and lifting the mood! All of this effort resulted in an amazing set of beautiful photos and showed in our tailored video which we couldn't be more happy about. Even after the wedding, they consistently kept us informed on how editing all the images were going, and walked us through various options of putting the photos onto canvas to have in our home so we can enjoy the photos for many years to come! Ruchika and Dinesh did an amazing job capturing our wedding. We had a 3 day event which was a mixture of Indian and western cultural celebrations. Ruchika and Dinesh were absolutely professional and very thorough throughout the entire process, from the initial meeting right through to delivering the final product. We had fantastic and amazing new born photoshoot experience with Ruchika and DJ. We came to know about them through Facebook and got in touch with Ruchika regarding out photo shoot. On the day of photoshoot, me and my partner were extremely nervous and skeptical about our session as it was our first shoot with baby, but after meeting Ruchika and DJ for the first time everything went smoothly. They both made us feel comfortable and at home. During the session they were very accommodating and flexible to our requests and made our little boy feel special, comfortable and relaxed. The best part working with Ruchika and DJ is the effort they put in to make it a team work and taking in feedback and not making it a one way affair. They gave us more than ample time even after when we were slightly late for the shoot and made this session a memorable one. A 5th birthday is always a huge milestone in life and it was great to have Ruchika taking our family photos as our daughter turned 5 that weekend. thank you for having us yesterday at the photoshoot of our new born. I can’t thank you enough for the support and comfort you and DJ provided to us during the shoot. The shoot lasted for 5 hours and before the shoot I was quite anxious around managing our new born’s first outing experience but your help made it all smooth and enjoyable for us. Your techniques of swaddling her whilst allowing her to be at peace really made it worth for us. In the end we don’t want a session that put our newborn at unease and at no point it felt like she was not soothed. I started looking for a professional photographer for my maternity shoot & newborn shoot around wellington when I was 4 months pregnant after calling ,enquiring & getting quotations from 3-4 photographers one of my friend gave Ruchika’s contact , I saw her portfolio in facebook and contacted her & asked her about the process , she responded very fast and explained me the whole process , her pricing was affordable as well and suggested me the best time to do the photoshoot. Near to the date she contacted me again to discuss the gown and to check on me if i have any queries . I wanted to do the photoshoot in my traditional wear and one in a gown in which she was flexible. The day of the shoot she welcomed us , she was very friendly and communicated with us throughout our shoot.I showed her some of the poses which i wanted and she accommodated as well. She also made a small reel of us at the end which was unexpected but we loved it. After two weeks she contacted us and informed us that photos are ready we were shocked but when we looked at the photos we were very happy they were extra ordinary in the package 15 photos were included but we couldn’t decide on 15 and we took all the photos, it was worth the value. Now we are waiting for our little one to arrive & definitely looking forward for his shoot. 100% recommending Ruchika to all my friends.

On behalf of my family, I wanted to share our experience with Ruchika and Dinesh (Ruchika Jain Photography) family photoshoot. The Photoshoot was a Mystery Activity for our Girls Mystery weekend in Wellington. The trip consisted of 4 generations.Mum and her 4 daughters, 5 granddaughters, and 1 great granddaughter. Only I and another sister knew what was arranged. We only told everyone they had to have 1 outfit of black, white, or denim for the trip. Ruchika was so accommodating throughout the email and telephone communication. No one expected a photoshoot as I actively avoid photos being taken of myself. When we arrived at the studio everyone was asked what they thought we were doing. There was a range of activities mentioned, including cooking sessions, cultural experiences, dance, etc. We had the pleasure of both Ruchika and Dinesh taking photos. Throughout the photo session, they made everyone feel welcomed, comfortable and brought out everyone's fun side capturing natural smiles and the genuine love and connection between all of our family. This was the first professional family shoot as a family we have had. Everyone has their favorite individual photo and several favorite group photos. I would like to thank and congratulate Ruchika and Dinesh for creating an environment where everyone felt welcomed, comfortable, and supported while they relaxed and enjoyed the experience. Ruchika and DJ were more than we could ever ask for. I’m impressed that even after more than a month of our wedding, we still hear our guests talking about how awesome their work is. They made our reception really smooth, they were always smiling and with a great energy. Before the wedding, they asked about our story, about how we met and it was clear they were genuinely interested in knowing us better, in order to make our special day perfect for us. When we got all the photos and the video we were like: OMG this is like a movie, every minute of the video, every photo is telling us the story of our day. Since our family is from Brazil, having this video and photos organised and telling a story made them feel like a part of the celebration as well. Our parents keep telling us that they watched it over 100 times already and can't stop. They provide a top quality service, and they're extremely professional, from the first contact, we felt very important, and that they'd make sure we'd have the best day ever. Besides that, during all the process, they kept us up to date about everything. How long does it take each phase, asking for feedback at every step. That was quite reassuring. Since weather is complicated in Wellington and we wanted to get married outside, they shared their knowledge about what is the best place to get the most perfect photos in case weather didn't help. (Gladly we had good weather after all) Felt like they were celebrating with us. It’s really clear that they put all their heart in their work and this made everything even more special for us.
