We booked this AMAZING man nearly 2 years before our wedding date because I had been following him on social media for ages and wanted to make sure we didn't miss out on getting him for our big day! I'd always loved Rich's bright and natural looking wedding pics and knew that it was definitely the style we wanted to remember our own wedding by. I didn't meet Rich until I literally hopped out of the wedding car in my dress but he had me feeling calm and happy from that very moment. He is SO professional and fun and such a joy to have around.. He had us in stitches all afternoon, even in the minus temps up on the snow-capped mountains! We received our wedding pics in record time (I still can't believe how quickly we got them!) and we love every single one. We are just so happy we went with Rich Bayley Photography and cannot recommend him highly enough!

Rich was so amazing as our wedding photographer in May. He kept us chatting and laughing all day (I don't think there's even one photo of us where we aren't smiling or laughing!) Rich is an AMAZING photographer. Not only he takes stunning photos, he is so friendly and easy to deal with. Because our original photo-shooting day was rainy and cloudy, Rich was so nice to reschedule to another day for us even he is going to a trip 4 days after the photoshoot. My h2b and me are never good models in front of cameras, but Rich was very knowledgeable in leading us throughout the day and he puts us at ease. He was also very efficient in the final editing of our photos and the photos turned out to be absolutely beautiful. I honestly can not say enough great things about Rich Bayley! He was FANTASTIC to work with, throughout the wedding process. He was very communicative prior to the wedding, and made it exceptionally easy to coordinate everything from overseas - our schedule, photo wish list, payment, everything. He did THE MOST incredible job of capturing every moment of the wedding and got pictures of every single guest that attended. The photos he took during our helicopter trip to Roy's Peak were like nothing I had ever seen - all our friends say they are the most beautiful wedding photos they've seen and that they belong in a magazine! Rich went above and beyond to capture our wedding day and we couldn't recommend him highly enough. So many of our guests mentioned how professional and personable he was in directing everyone during the formal photos (and it usually takes a small army to wrangle our large families). He is a photography ninja - we didn't even notice he was there for a large part of our ceremony and reception! He snapped the most wonderful candid and artistic shots. No detail was too small. Rich knew the region well and had the most incredible spots for bridal photos. He also doubles as a professional veil fixer/bow tier/train holder on the side and turned what I assumed was going to be one of the more stressful aspects of the day into such a breeze! Rich was absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process, right from the first Skype call (we are based overseas). Rich is a fantastic photographer and we feel very lucky to have found him in Queenstown for our wedding! He's professional, on top of things, has a great eye & fantastic ideas, and knows the area incredibly well for some amazing hidden gem spots for photos.
