Joel & Bonita photographed our wedding and we are so happy with the results! They’re a lovely couple and it was so fun to spend time with them on our wedding day. We are very happy with all the photos and would 100% recommend them.

We had Joel & Bonita photograph our wedding, and I am so so glad we did! Joel and Bonita Photography specialize in wedding and couple photography and their incredible work makes me wish I had discovered them when I was getting married! But I do have to say that they are THE MOST INCREDIBLE family photographers I have ever used!!! Ever since my oldest child was born 9 years ago we have had professional family photos taken once a year and it has been with someone different every single time. Up until now that is! We worked with Joel and Bonita last year to have our family photos taken and it was the best experience we have ever had getting our family photos done and the photos that they took were absolutely stunning! Needless to say we will not be going anywhere else from now on and I plan to book Joel and Bonita Photography in every year from now on. We are a family of 6, with four young boys aged 8yrs, 6yrs, 3 1/2yrs and 1yr old, and anyone with young children will know how hard it is to get a nice family photo, especially when there are even more than one or two children in the mix! On the day of our photoshoot we arrived at the location and our boys jumped out of the car so full of energy that they struggled to listen to instructions and my 1 year old decided that he did not want to co-operate and was a bit grumpy despite the food that we tried to bribe him with 😅 (you parents know how it is 😂) and I was worried that we were going to struggle to get any nice shots with all of that chaos going on. Joel and Bonita just took it all in their stride and weren't phased by it at all and in fact were such a help with the children. Having a team of two photographers taking photos definitely made a huge difference in the result of our photoshoot and in the group shots it was especially handy to have one of the team trying to get all of us looking the same way and smiling at the same time while the other one was snapping away on the camera. And then the lovely Bonita even played with all of our children while Joel took some shots of my husband and I together. I was really excited and nervous to get our images back as I had no idea how they would turn out and when our images arrived I was absolutely blown away with how amazing they were! The quality of the photos that Joel and Bonita captured was amazing and their unique editing style really brought out the warmth and emotion in our photos even more. And the biggest thing for me was that there wasn't just a handful of great photos in amongst the lot but every . single . photo was amazing and they really will all be treasured forever ❤️ I absolutely could not recommend Joel and Bonita Photography highly enough!!! P.S. I might just have to convince my hubby to do a vow renewal just so I can get Joel and Bonita Photography to capture it 😍

Joel and Bonita are fun, talented, creative, thoughtful and professional! They are the perfect team for producing incredible photos. I love that they can take photos at the same time but from different angles...they have produced many, many of our favorite family photos....the hardest thing is to choose which ones to blow up to frame for the wall!! If you want special, warm, beautiful photos to capture any moments of your life...choose Joel and Bonita!

Would 100% recommend Joel & Bonita if you're looking for amazing natural photos that don't look overly staged...while still receiving guidance to get great images! This was our biggest request for our wedding, we didn't want to feel like our photos were too posed or that we had be staring at the camera for hours... And Joel & Bonita aced this, the photoshoot was actually so much fun, they really captured our beachy wedding vibe. Bonita was super easy to communicate with & went out of her way with all of my requests, I feel they really understood how important the day was for us. We loved our photos & often get compliments on them - think we've currently got 13 displayed as we couldn't just pick a few! The only thing I would have changed would have been a few more double up pictures so we could pick the perfect moment or expression. There are some photos I otherwise love but one of us is not looking or has a funny expression (to anyone else it might look fine but different when you know someone!) I also would have loved more than one photo of us kissing under the arch ☺ Overall though, everything was pretty near perfect, I really feel they captured us perfectly and we will treasure the photos forever. Thankyou!!

100% would recommend this couple. They are such a joy to work with. Multiple coffee catch ups prior to the day to make sure all details had been covered - This included a location visit. Very comfortable to be around especially on the day. It felt like they were part of the Whanau. Super relaxed, engaging with all of our guests and took wonderful photos. We had both Joel & Bonita for 8+hrs to make sure all of our day was covered, photos of the bride and groom as well as many photos of the guests - this was especially important to us as our day was just as much about our guests as it was us. They did a perfect job and the photos were just fabulous. Only thing would be that I would have preferred to have chosen the photos that they printed but I forgot we were getting prints so it was an added surprise. Plus they came with a little thank you card and a gift all wrapped up and presented in a wooden personalised box - can’t complain!!! Highly highly highly recommend! 💖
