We looked into several photographers for our wedding and it was clear that Heidi offered a very high quality service with lots of added value and no extra hidden costs. When it came time to get our photos taken, Heidi went the extra mile to make sure we felt comfortable and got the shots we wanted. She gave plenty of direction without being bossy and was quick and efficient in her work. Matt was an excellent assistant photographer and a great help getting us boys dressed and organised! Thanks so much for the excellent photos, we will happily recommended you to everyone!

We had the pleasure of working with Heidi and Matt as our wedding photographers this year. From the time that we first got in contact with them, to our wedding day and the weeks following, they have gone above and beyond to give us such a great overall experience. When Chris and I first got engaged, I met a friend for a celebratory coffee and she insisted that I get in contact with Heidi as she highly recommended her as a wedding photographer. From the moment I contacted Heidi, I knew we were going to get along fantastically! Heidi's communication was fantastic - friendly, responsive and personal. We had our engagement session in Te Anau with Heidi and Matt in November 2015. The whole thing was so much fun! Heidi and Matt made the session really relaxed and we had so many laughs. It was a fantastic opportunity to get to know both of these fantastic people who we look forward to having as such a big part of our special day in January 2017. Heidi had a sneak peek of our photos up really quickly and we didn't have to wait long for the whole collection either. We absolutely love our photos and are so excited about how amazing our wedding photos will be! Booking Heidi and Matt as photographers for our wedding was one of the first things we did after getting engaged! From the very first email to check their availability, Heidi and Matt became so much more than just our wedding photographers and were always available to help or offer advice. Come the day of the wedding it felt as though we were with friends who just happened to be amazing photographers. Heidi & Matt have such a fun and calming approach to the wedding day and are always checking to see that everything is going smoothly. We were blown away at how prompt they were at processing the photos and their incredible quality. I couldn't recommend Heidi and Matt enough from when we very first booked 2 years out Heidi was right there offering help and ideas for all aspects of the wedding. Nothing was a problem and having both Heidi and Matt there on the day made things run so smoothly. We got all our photos well within the time line set by Heidi and they are the most amazing photos they captured our day perfectly. We have had soo many amazing comments aswell. The whole process was so personal and not once did it feel like it was just a business transaction. I feel we gained friends in the process. We cannot recommend Heidi (and Matt!) enough! The best wedding planning decision we made was to ask the Hortons to be a part of our day. The very first image of her’s that we saw was a simple shot of a wedding cake and that was all it took to know that we had found a truly talented photographer who’s artistic style was perfect for us. Heidi was so incredibly easy to deal with and nothing was ever a bother to her. She happily answered all of my emails filled with questions and was even on hand to provide advice about bridesmaid dresses and wedding day timelines. It quickly came to feel like I was emailing a friend and I cannot thank Heidi enough for being so sweet and patient with a bride who clearly had no idea what she was doing. Living overseas at the time, Heidi made the whole process so easy and I’ll always be grateful for that. Her blog was the most helpful source of inspiration (better than Pinterest!) and potential vendors as well as tips and tricks to get you through with your sanity intact! We couldn’t be more blown away with how amazing our photos, album and wall art are! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much!
