I phoned Watkins Plumbers re an outside tap which was leaking and as they had just returned to work after the Xmas break, they were booked up until the end of the week. I asked Michelle if they could come at their earliest convenience and I couldn't believe it when one of their plumbers arrived an hour after I phoned. He immediately replaced the broken tap and checked all was working okay and was gone within 20 minutes. Well done Watkins, fantastic service as usual. Many thanks.

I've used Watkins twice now and I have found them really responsive and experienced. John helped us figure out a tricky shower leak and also replaced the shower head for us. He was consultative, patient, honest and kind. Definitely would use them again.

Two men arrived soon after a phone call from them to ask if this was a good time to respond to my order for a tap repair/replacement. They wore masks, were respectful and well prepared and quickly/efficiently completed assessment and work, leaving guarantee. Invoice followed next day. I had already agreed to call out fee of $119 for 1 hour. Tap was checked for leaks and works well.

I have always used Watkins Plumbing. Their business has been around for many years. Their professional service, has never faulted for us. I had Darren K, install a toilet, super happy with his service. Had to call for their service again, the very next day, for a faulty hot water valve, Michael attended this job, again, the service provided, I cannot fault. Plumbing, is not a cheap service, however I found their charges reasonable. Highly, recommended business.

Dishwasher installation. Nice guys, did a good job, no issues so far. A bit higher cost than I expected, but there’s a lot of materials and I’m pretty sure they took longer than the 1hr I was billed for so I’m more than happy. It required some holes drilled for pipe routing. They’re nicely managed and out of the way. I can’t see anything that looks like a shortcut or poor workmanship. Installer forgot to turn the filter tap on, called me to mention it just after leaving, I turned it on and all was fine. Also showed me how to swap the filter since it’s a ten second job anyone can do. Small things like that add value, and give me confidence that I can trust them to look after us.

For my bathroom renovation Watkins undertook all new pipe work installation and commissioning of all bathroom fittings. They turned up when when they said they would and provided experienced advice on location of some fittings. Very happy with the service provided.

Yet again its Watkins to the rescue. I had a leakage problem that was causing my water metre to tick over when no water was being used. I contacted Watkins and they came out to assess, sent a leak detector man out to identify the problem (the most minute leak in my old pipe) and then came out to repair it . Mark and Ben paid care and attention to both the job and the finish of the final concrete repair to my driveway. Can't rate them highly enough. Excellent value for money. Ryan and Mason were the two plumbers assigned to install a shower; subsequent to this installation they replaced black plastic suspect piping throughout, at my request They were meticulous in how they approached the job and extremely professional in techniques. A leaking hot water cylinder was noticed and promptly replaced along with new pipework. Can not say how their price compared as I did not shop around. Whilst I am price conscious I am more than happy to know the job was to the highest standards and that will be what survives at the end of the day. Sean Campbell

Very pleased with the work done by Watkins Plumbing services. We had a blocked drain that required extensive concrete removal, excavation and replacement. The team made a fantastic job and left the property clean and tidy, removing all excavated soil and concrete. Great value and would certainly recommend Watkins to others.

Awesome company! From kind, pleasent first contact over the phone, to first service person that came around. He was helpful, pleasent and genuine. He called boss to come take a look as it was tricky, boss came straight over, was really helpful talking through my options as were were going to try and do some of the pre ground work ourselves to save us money. He wasn't offended at this and gave great advice on how to. They came back after the weekend and did the plumbing job, efficient, fast and pleasent. Have used these guys a couple of times within the last six months, and every time found their service and workmanship very good. They removed a toilet and vanity for us and then capped off all the piping. Very tidy, quick and efficient. The next time was when we had moved to a new house and had some issues with the pumbing relating to pressure , plus wanted a few shower fittings and under sink piping changed. Darren came , who had come before to remove the toilet, and had a quick look. What we liked about him is he explains what he thinks the problem is and what he can do to fix it. After he had looked he spoke to Dean and they came up with a plan of what to do on return. Darren returned and spent quite a few hours working through changing the piping and fittings, then worked his way through the pressure problem until it was all fixed. He detailed to us again what he had done . Sure these guys will charge the usual rates , but it's worth the results you get, the service, good workmanship , reliable and efficiency. And Darren is first class and a real credit to the company. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

I called Watkins Plumbing this morning to ask them to check out a possible water leak. It is 11.40am - they have been, checked everything possible, found that the meter was unlikely to have even been read for months because it was so buried (a common practice of Watercare - it has happened to me before) and have told me there IS NO LEAK. A wonderful service from a very pleasant young man. I was dreading it but this company is great!

We had a pipe burst in the wall in the middle of the night. The only way to stop all the water was to turn the water off completely. I called Watkins as soon as they opened they next day and explained our urgency. All their guys were already on their way to jobs, but he said he'd call one of them and see if he can detour him. He called me back within 2 minutes and said someone was on their way. He turned up less than 10 minutes later and was able to promptly fix the problem for us. Very, very happy with Watkins and would recommend.

Great job from Watkins, turned out slightly more expensive than estimated, due to the work done on our hot water by previous home owner, which was not foreseeable until the job was started. Most importantly, everything the plumber said he could do (increase the pitiful shower pressure and get the hot water flowing at more than a dribble ) was achieved.
