The pipe from our water tanks burst inside our garage leaving us with no access to water on a Sunday. Alistair came out immediately. He asked all the right questions so he could bring the required parts with him, and was very easy and professional to deal with. Not to mention his call out fee was less than anyone else we tried to reach. He did a thorough, good quality job. We will certainly be using Brightside Plumbing going forward and would highly recommend.

Alastair May from Brightside Plumbing provided great customer support to us. We would like to changes 2 vanities set in the bath rooms and he made them so smoothly... The vanities and faucets were replaced perfectly. Highly recommend Brightside Plumbing for any plumbing jobs! He is friendly, on time, work professionally with high quality. Thank you!

Alastair was very friendly and helpful. He responded to our request for assistance promptly and turned up on time. He then came back to install a new toilet which he helped us to choose and then ordered for us and collected from Plumbing World. He also removed the old toilet. We highly recommend his plumbing services.

Alastair was recommended to us and didn't disappoint. Worked with us to choose the right fittings for some plumbing improvements as well as a hot cylinder replacement. Communicated well, did a great job and provided loads of good advice. It's clear to see that he really cares about the quality of his work which is what you want in someone who is installing plumbing in your house!! To top it off he is a very nice, chilled and professional guy. Highly recommend.

Alastair was amazing, we had major issues with internal flooding because of header tank overflowing in our ceiling and the switch for the pump not switching off, also extremely low water preasure. Alastair listened to what we wanted, and understood why and he came up with a few options, along with a complete plan. Quoted a great price, and worked into our schedule to get this all completed for us very fast so we would not experience more flooding. End result, no more worries and amazing water pressure and no chance of any water leaking in the ceiling again. Highly recommend Brightside Plumbing to anyone needing a Professional, and Experienced Plumber who listens and goes that extra mile to please his clients

We had squealing pipes and water hammer issues in our home intermittently. After other plumbers had come and gone failing to diagnose the issue (as the noise was not present when the plumbers were here) we engaged Brightside Plumbing. Again the noise was not present on Alastair's arrival. Alastair checked all the piping and having listened to a recording of the noise I had taken on my phone he diagnosed the issue and got straight to work. A couple of hours later the job was all done, new part in place and no issues to report ever since. Alastair took time in explaining all of the different possibilities to us, showed us where he believed the issue was and agreed a method. Really impressed with the service, Alastair's genuine personality and work ethic. Highly recommended

Alastair was amazingly helpful. He showed up with extremely short notice to help sort out a seized water pump and help get our water running again. He was very friendly and explained everything he was doing in a simple manner.

I had various plumbers give me quotes to fix some plumbing issues at my house and all gave huge quotes with minimal solutions. Alastair was brilliant. He fixed all the issues at 1/3 of the previously quoted costs and did a great job!

We'd recently had our in wall toilet cistern temporarily repaired as parts were difficult to source and now needed a toilet seat replaced. We had tried unsuccessfully to source parts from the agent in NZ.. Alistair May assessed our requirements, sourced the relevant parts and new seats. Both our in wall toilet cisterns were upgraded and toilet seats replaced in record time. We are truely grateful and Alistair May is our go-to plumber. Reliability and honesty go along way.

Alastair was awesome!! We had a pretty major leak 600mm underground which was pretty stressful. He came out at really short notice, fixed it, sent through photos and a really detailed explanation of everything. I couldn’t actually meet him on-site but he was great at communicating and keeping me in the loop of what was going on

Alistair is a delightful young plumber who has recently launched his own business. He is knowledgeable and trustworthy and coordinated my water to be piped up from the roadside meter and connected it for me. His attention to detail was fabulous. He even put down fresh topsoil and grass seed once he had finished.I highly recommend Brightside Plumbing.

Friendly, super quick response to a leaking water cylinder. Looked after the supply of new cylinder and subsequent disposal of old cylinder.
