The pipe from our water tanks burst inside our garage leaving us with no access to water on a Sunday. Alistair came out immediately. He asked all the right questions so he could bring the required parts with him, and was very easy and professional to deal with. Not to mention his call out fee was less than anyone else we tried to reach. He did a thorough, good quality job. We will certainly be using Brightside Plumbing going forward and would highly recommend.

Alastair was amazing, we had major issues with internal flooding because of header tank overflowing in our ceiling and the switch for the pump not switching off, also extremely low water preasure. Alastair listened to what we wanted, and understood why and he came up with a few options, along with a complete plan. Quoted a great price, and worked into our schedule to get this all completed for us very fast so we would not experience more flooding. End result, no more worries and amazing water pressure and no chance of any water leaking in the ceiling again. Highly recommend Brightside Plumbing to anyone needing a Professional, and Experienced Plumber who listens and goes that extra mile to please his clients

We had squealing pipes and water hammer issues in our home intermittently. After other plumbers had come and gone failing to diagnose the issue (as the noise was not present when the plumbers were here) we engaged Brightside Plumbing. Again the noise was not present on Alastair's arrival. Alastair checked all the piping and having listened to a recording of the noise I had taken on my phone he diagnosed the issue and got straight to work. A couple of hours later the job was all done, new part in place and no issues to report ever since. Alastair took time in explaining all of the different possibilities to us, showed us where he believed the issue was and agreed a method. Really impressed with the service, Alastair's genuine personality and work ethic. Highly recommended

Alastair was amazingly helpful. He showed up with extremely short notice to help sort out a seized water pump and help get our water running again. He was very friendly and explained everything he was doing in a simple manner.

I had various plumbers give me quotes to fix some plumbing issues at my house and all gave huge quotes with minimal solutions. Alastair was brilliant. He fixed all the issues at 1/3 of the previously quoted costs and did a great job!

We'd recently had our in wall toilet cistern temporarily repaired as parts were difficult to source and now needed a toilet seat replaced. We had tried unsuccessfully to source parts from the agent in NZ.. Alistair May assessed our requirements, sourced the relevant parts and new seats. He is knowledgeable and trustworthy and coordinated my water to be piped up from the roadside meter and connected it for me. His attention to detail was fabulous.
