Reviews of Blue Door Bar
A.
We experienced such fantastic cocktails and even better service that we came back 3 times in 24 hours... the cocktails all have a twist on classics, just made better. Also some great craft beers on tap.

That might be the best espresso martini I have ever had! Will certainly be coming back for more

Was lucky to go to the Sunday Jazz 5pm - 7pm saw Alchemy(?) Bloody incredible! Tiny cosy bar with fireplace, stone building, low ceiling and amazing atmosphere! The Terra Santa Pinot Noir was worth the $14 price tag! Absolutely going back, highly recommend.
C.
Beautiful atmospheric little bar, with an open woodfire, lovely leather chairs, and some great people.

Beautiful, small, cosy, comfortable. This bar is a gem found hidden away from the unsuspecting visitor, but should be at the top of anyone's list of bars to visit.

Just popped in for a drink. Was most enjoyable.. worth checking out.

Nice little bar hidden away in Arrowtown. Was good to sit beside an open fire and have a few wines. I didnt get long here but I will definitely be back in the near future

Great experience and great food. The rump beef was brilliant and the awesome dessert

OK its a bit on the pricey side, but this unique joint in the middle of Arrowtown is a must visit. Lost time of the number of times I have hit my head going in or out of The Blue Door (I am 1.99m and the door must be around 1.60m). Its a wonderfully cool, dark and homely place inside; a cross between an exclusive club and cow barn. Some great wines and spirits and just the place to start of finish an evening when paired with Arrowtown's fine eateries.
