A nice, small lunch bar with only a few tables and pleasantly individual decor hearking back to the 60s. All food is pre-prepared cabinet food--primarily various kinds of sandwich--so, like many Auckland lunch bars, there won't be many options if you don't arrive early. The food is fresh and tasty and sizes are generous. Good quality coffee but if you want tea, you're going to be stuck with a very ordinary tea bag. Nice, friendly staff. There's a sign requiring vaccine pass but, unfortunately, no one checked.

It’s a hidden coffee shop and I really enjoy their long blacks ! Prices are great and affordable for CBD ! It also looks like they bake the scones and muffins in house !! Definitely worth checking out

Probably the only decent breakfast place in the area... Excellent coffee!

If you're after a coffee or some food from the case, it will probably be quite good. Coffee is usually done well and it's in a convenient uptown location.
Personally I'd avoid anything off the food menu they actually have to make, and sadly the chef there is not a good cook. I've ordered several things there from a breakfast (terrible, undercooked eggs, everything greasy and cold) to a toasted sandwich (soggy bread, tasteless except for some weird garlic flavour - I'm guessing they used garlic oil.)
So yeah, mixed but good for a quick espresso fix during the working week.

Great coffee! So good we came back for a second cup later in the day! We'll be back again next time in Auckland!

Dropped by on my way to grafton campus, and ordered straight carrot juice- which is not on the menu! And they were more than happy to do it for me, and it was delicious! Lovely service too! I tried doing the same at tank, and they mixed water into it. I will definitely be back for more!

One of the best coffee beans and baristas in town :)
