N.Nailed it! Been here a few times and it just does not disappoint. The fish tacos are delicious, with a beautiful piece of fresh fish. The beef nachos, and I'm making a big call here, may be the best in town! Big portion, fair price, delicious tender beef, light corn chips... I mean... Wow! Extra points for Tuatara beer on tap. Well done, guys!

E.Really nice place, great vibes. Menu is diverse, you can get many interestingly sounding main courses as well as something to nibble (although nachos could have had more cheese). Many gluten free and dairy free dishes. Everything is cooked fresh and there is an open kitchen (so you can be sure it's fresh). Nice selection of good alcohols too
B.Really great experience. Was greeted when we came through door and seated immediately. Staff brought menus and explained specials. Very swift as they came back to ask for drinks/food orders.
Both dishes came out at the same time and took roughly 10-15mins. Drinks came out quickly and staff were very fast to clear tables and ask if a refill was needed.
I'm vegetarian and I have to say there was a good amount of vegetarian food available on the menu. From past experience the food portions can be large however this time a better portion (for me) was given.
Indoor area is cosy but loads of seats, outdoor area is fully covered and has a fire on one side with heaters distributed accordingly.
Great place for catch up or business casual meeting.

A.Some of the best casual dining food I've ever had - period. The burgers are excellent and come with delicious fries and crunchy, ultra-tasty onion rings. There's a great beer selection and our party of ten were very well looked after, and all equally as impressed as i was. Sensational!

J.It's fine enough for somewhere to be if you need to be close to the bus or train station. The layout is nice enough. The food is pretty small portions compared to similar priced elsewhere however, and if you're not there to drink its pretty lackluster. I've not been to many places in Kingsland yet however so it may be run for the course, in which case I'll come back and up my score.

When I visited Citizen Park, it was a rainy cold day evening and the seat where I sat down was a steel stool which made feeling freezing. I might be able to move to another seat to be closer to heater but we were around 10 people group so it was not easy.
The service and food were nice, I loved the burger.
Maybe visiting you again during summer.
S.I recommend that you order the Southern fried chicken burger. Its absolutely stunning!
The staff are really friendly and helpful, and the bar itself is beautifully decorated. The outside seating area is lovely and warm with plenty of heat lamps over almost every table.
I would definitely eat here again.
L.Bucket of 5 Heinys for $25? Best place to go with the boys for the wrestling! The wait staff are great fun, and the bar didn't glare at us when we got a round of cocktails! Loved it, and I'm looking forward to coming back!

A.Best chicken burger I have ever had, messy as hell with spicy sauce running onto my fingers, but tasty as. Food choices really good, service excellent. Atmosphere good with music not so loud. The rest of my family enjoyed their meals as well. If I wasn't leaving Auckland tomorrow I would be back in a flash.
N.Just popped in for a drink Friday approx 6pm. Paid $40 for a jug, wow. Did n't see any prices re jugs in the drinks menu list, did look but might have missed it. Popular place so obviously people like it but probably not for me at that price.

P.Nice venue to pop in with friends grab a quick drink and catch up. Bar staff efficient and friendly. Good selection of beers, wines and spirits. Bit of a trek to the toilets and music can be a bit loud. Irrespective I rather enjoyed my visit.

A.Great spot. Good food and atmosphere. Always make a trip here after events at Eden Park for either celebrating wins or drowning sorrows. Main issue in Kingsland is the parking, so be prepared for a bit of a walk on a busy evening, but this a general fault of the area, not CP.

M.Great food and service. Rather large meals (even the sides are large!), which is nice - you never feel like you didn't get enough of what you ordered. The food, at first glance, appears somewhat expensive at first glance but then when you see the quantity, and then experience the quality of it, it's totally understandable 😀.
There is a wide variety of meals, including vegetarian and vegan options (not relevant to me, but useful for some friends and family), and every category of food and beverages has enough variability to please just about anyone. Lots of fun, quirky options as well.
It can be a little loud for my liking, but it's hard to legitimately fault them for this, simply because it's such a popular establishment!
Recommended for anyone who likes a casual yet stylish decor and ambience, and of course, really great food!
F.The pub is a great venue with lots of natural light in the bar area and excellent rustic styling in the restaurant. We visit often for pub quizzes but find the food is the biggest let down. There is a lot on the menu but the quality of the selections is suspect, while being a tad expensive. The Mexican style dishes are not very good. The hashtag fries are sensational though. The menu needs a decent overhaul in my opinion.

B.it's a very nice bar and restaurant it can get busy but that's expected at peek hours. I haven't eaten there as of yet but I have been there many times for drinks with friends and work colleagues. it's a great place to socialize and very close to any public transport for the journey home.

N.It's a perfect place to catch up for business or casual meet ups. Very close to AT paid public car park and Kingsland train station. There are plenty of parking on the road as well. Staff were great and they have very tasty options besides great coffees. Try the Sliders to go with your coffee - they are great for quick meetings. Will definitely visit them again. Great for families as well.

C.Delicious food, especially the ribs. Really funky and cool vibe. The only downside was the slow service - we had to go up to the counter to get the waiting staff's attention as nobody came to us for over 5 minutes when we were trying to order. Overall a great experience and we will be back.

M.Casual bar, friendly staff, prompt service. Saw birds fly inside thou, was hoping they wouldn't eat our food :) but I'd go back. Went for Friday after work drink. Music was blurring on the speaker, but wasn't too loud you couldn't chat.

A.Atmosphere is awesome. There service is A1+. But they smoke inside the courtyard and that kills it. I would highly recommend but if you don’t like smoking I would sit in the nice part of the place because if there is a smoker it could mate it horrible.

D.We needed a place open in Kingsland for a daytime date and this place was not only open but just right with an endearing balance of industrial recycling for tables and seating, options for in and outside seating (plus comfortable bar seating), and a bar snack menu that catered from simple to complex tastes (incl GF and DF options). On top of that, the customer service was just as personable and endearing despite the wearying midday heat. Another great gem in Kingsland, don't tell anyone!
J.Had an amazing night, we ordered the scrumptious cheese salad and juicy slow cooked ribs which were falling off the bone, then WHAMMO a mouthful of the devils lettuce , what kind of sadist puts green tinfoil (coriander) on ribs

R.I like the environment in Citizen Park. However, the food is only okay (from what I've tried) and it's on the pricey side for what you get. I would say, definitely go for the drinks and ambiance... but maybe choose another Kingsland restaurant for dinner.

J.Recently with a menu change and winter upon us, the entire space has become somewhat of a cozy smoke-free paradise for the first-wave of dining enthusiasts: it's the perfect Friday night hangout. Personally I kicked off with a St Clair Block 9 riesling (my current favourite). Calamari and Pablo's beer sauce chicken wings followed. My young tyke had the best kids cheese burger ever with a side of crinkle cut fries. The beef brisket nachos are to die for. Not too crazy about the smoked fish fritters but that's just me. Kraken rum & lime cocktails, pineapple tamale (served with liquorice gelato) and chocolate sundae were next. And I already know what I'm having NEXT TIME - twice cooked pork belly with wild mushroom & leek pasta bake! Such a fun way to start the weekend.
j.Great burgers, I had the lobster and it certainly sloppy, as named. Awesome vibes and a nice venue. Only downside is the toilets stank.

V.great bar but last time I went it was so loud.. music that my friends and I couldnt hear each other. it got louder so left.. so had most of the crowd.. pretty early on, I assume for the same reason.
