Fantastic place. Service was friendly and welcoming. Food was delicious. Steak was cooked to perfection. Pizzas were spot on. Atmosphere is great. Sit and watch the Hussle and bustle of the waterfront.

Great service by our waitress the drinks came in under 5 minutes and all our meals were excellent. Definitely recommend

Came here on a Saturday for lunch and were seated outside overlooking the harbour. We had a pizza, the buttermilk chicken, ribs, and fries. The chicken was the highlight, but all the food was tasty. Service was fast and professional, the only let down was the lack of frozen margarita flavours.

Margerita with treats is extremely sweet. The pub is a nice size but you normally need to book to get a table in the sun on their terrace

Large portions of food for a great price! Good atmosphere and lovely staff. Only downside was the frozen margaritas were way too sweet!

Food tastes good, but is nothing special. Frozen margs are sweet and do not hit… Considering the amount of margs I had I was pretty sober... Better off buying something else if you want to get drunk.

Great location and Vibes - 5 Congested seating and wobbly table - 2 Food - 3 (margarita pizza and buttermilk ckn were good. Polenta fries and cheese bread average. Below average fish and chips) Good place to have a few drinks and chat. Not so great if you only take food into consideration.

Staff were friendly polite and informative. Drinks looked amazing but very sickly sweet. Maybe get the Froze without the candy garnish.

Great service, good pricing and very friendly staff, the venue also had a good atmosphere and the food (much like other Joyland establishments) was good quality and well prepared, overall a great place to visit

The staff were really accommodating and the food was delicious. The pizza was really great, the fries were okay, but shoestring fries are easy to overcook and these were definitely a little crispy. The fried chicken was a little disappointing, there was more crumbs than chicken I think! I was expecting larger pieces of chicken.

While I have tried Coops earlier and I've really liked the vibe, the last time I went (29 Jul), my pizza was served cold. Also, they don't have much of a range in Whiskeys (other than some house). The margaritas were really good though, and hence the 3 stars.

Great service, awesome staff, fantastic vibes and ambience. It was popping on a Friday night! But unfortunately the food was just not good at all guys. We ordered chicken roasts, pasta, chicken wings, pizza and fries. Everything but the wings was not good at all. Literally had no flavour, seasoning or even salt. I had to down my pizza with some tomatoe sauce. Will come here again for drinks but a friendly heads up if you guys could make some slight changes to the food/menu.

The service was pretty good, and most of the food was very good. The fish was a bit inconsistent, with one portion coming on a bet of cauliflower mash while the other was more of a smear. The fish was also very salty for our liking. Chicken waffles were fantastic.

This place served an amazing lamb salad however the "large" wine was absolutely tiny and cost me $15! Beware everyone that the small wine is not much different, for a lot less. I was going to order a frozen margarita but because of this, I chose not too. Very misinformed information

Amazing customer service.all staffs including the manager was very helpful. Was very busy night but fast service.had a little disappointment of some of the dishes..but again very good communication stills with customer. So thumbs up..

Went last week before a very big night, was an amazing place by the water. Bartenders were so kind! definitely recommend the mac & cheese bites too. Karlien helped suggest the best frozen margarita and made us feel very welcome. Massive shoutout to her and Sinead for the great service 10/10

Excellent service. Our food took a little while because there were a few functions but having worked in hospitality we understood this completely yet we were compensated with free drinks and friendly staff that really made the night special. Thank you. And yes, the burgers are the best in town.

Thought it was fabulous, we all had great service. The tail of Covid was still wagging, but Coops staff tended us very well with that in mind. Everyone enjoyed their time there, great menu, refreshments, location and service. Will definitely return.

Perfect for a late afternoon beverage and snacks as the sun sinks lower in the sky. You can look out on the boats in the marina and casually take in the passing parade. The verandah section seems quite neighbourly as patrons engage with passers by.

Lovely looking place with nice staff. The food was delicious with lots of it for a great price. Free quality pool table and other fun things like karaoke.

Nice chilled atmosphere, music isn't too loud (loved the Playlist) that you have to scream to talk to someone. Nice range or drinks at a reasonable price. Absolutely loved it. It's refreshing to be at a pub and ACTULLY have a good catchup convo with friends without being annoyed by the music or sitting too far away from the bar. Will be back again.

Walked in after being messed around by Q hotel (don't stay there). The welcome, the prices, the atmosphere, my hats off. Food was a little slow however everything else was superb so 5 stars. Worth popping in!

This place has a great location it was a sunny afternoon so we stopped for lunch. Unfortunately the service was friendly but slow.. we wandered in after no one came to offer a table we found our own. We ordered the coopers sharing platter and the loaded fries.. the latter was nice but missing a few condiments in my opinion I.e sourcream, guacamole would have been a nice addition and I thinks it’s a bit cheeky calling mince 8 hour braised beef.. The platter had some tasty elements the squid, chicken and cauliflower were good but the rest were like an after thought.. or not to mention were forgotten completely until I pointed out that we were missing various things in the platter- the waitress did get it sorted with no trouble and was professional but the whole experience was underwhelming and I probably won’t be back with so much competition in the area they’re going to have to lift their game.

Ordered steak medium but got an overdone one....a really overdone one!! And dey simply just throw a plateful of fries with it n a slice of garlic butter. Not a single pc of green. Fish n chips also de same. Fish wasn't fresh at all. Although my steak wasn't being charged but I'm sure for such a popular place in Auckland yr food quality shld be better than that!!Only consolation de waitress Valentina was friendly n nice. De 3 stars r for her!!

Service was good, friendly. Fries were good, mini hotdogs were pretty much average, pizza was a lite burt in patches, nice taste, but could have been more generous with toppings, some pieces had no topping on it!

Loud, sweaty, constrictive, average food. Everything it simply needs to be and have. It also has a pool table. Some of the staff are attractive too. I’ll go back some time in 2021.

Best place to enjoy Sun, Sea, and food. Been there lot of times great service, Tasty food. I wish they do Curly fries apart from that its a great place. Highly recommend Coops Corner Pub.

Popped in for a drink but the menu and food all around us looked amazing. Super glad we stayed. Great food and friendly staff.

Very average loaded fries. Felt like store brought gravy and 6 jalapeno slices, cheese wasn't even melted.

This place is great - the atmosphere, the service AND one of only 2 places on the Viaduct that stayed open for the Wales vs Fiji RWC match acouple of weeks back when the nearest 'official RWC bar' closed at half time! Big ups Coops Corner Pub - you guys rock!!!
