C.I love Eagle Bar. Its a great place to relax and meet new people and enjoy a laugh with the staff (who are hilarious).
Its in a great location to also pop out get a bite to eat with a variety of food and pop back in to see who's put on Pet Shop Boys and started to dance....5 stars.

There is a little trick, if you want to get a free cocktail and a separate room for free for 2 hours, you need to register on site 909gay,com and tell the bar the profile number, or provide a screenshot. The stock should work 👍👍
M.When its not that busy, a great place to sit down, drink and catch up with your loved ones, or your not-so-loved ones. Weekdays are your friend.
When the weekend dawns, be prepared to fight for dance space.

C.Always a great place to go, whether alone or with friends, the vibe is always right for a drink, a laugh and some sassy gossip. Very queer, straight friendly, you're always bound to walk out with more friends than you went in with
R.The place is a lot of fun with very friendly staff who even chatted with me while on breaks. They even have a free jukebox with a great selection of songs.
There is only one reason I didn't give it 5 stars, and that is due to the name. In the gay scene around the world, the 'Eagle' usually means a leather bar, and I was a bit surprised when I instead got a different atmosphere. (Luckily I didn't gear up in leather before I went out!)
Again, the bar itself is nice, but think "friendly neighborhood bar" with some attractive preppy clientele mixed in with regular locals both younger and middle-aged.

D.Fun and diverse place to go with friends to finish the night, grab some extra beers and enjoy some nice sound. Not a big house but make sure to walk thru each different rooms and enjoy the different vibes. Staff is very helpful.

r.First time at this bar. Very friendly, welcoming, accepting place to be. Had the best time of my life. Will keep coming back time and again. I was quite nervous about this place at first but all my doubts were gone by the time I arrived at the bar.

Situated right opposite New Zealand's most famous Family bar & club, Eagle offers a more cosy experience where you can mingle with your peers and meet new people. It has an outdoor (smoking) area with a relaxed atmosphere. If your looking to let loose then head inside for a more upbeat vibe a pick a song on the jukebox machine. If your heading out and want a drink before hitting the clubs then give Eagle bar a go. You never know who you might meet.
