Had a wonderful night. Nice friendly staff, very accommodating. Meals were fantastic & yummy. Would recommend the Chicken & Bacon Stack very filling. They brought the kids meal out with the starter which was great. Would highly recommend & we will be back

After motorbike racing at Ruapuna, the team ordered up the courtesy coach and went to the Islington for a great pub meal, more than a few drinks, and a lot of laughs, before being safely delivered safely back to our accomodation. Excellent.

The chaps coped with a large crowd took it well we were very noisy but great night. Glad I had menu sorted to help kitchen. It went with out a hitch. Big thumbs up. Merry Christmas to your staff.

Honestly was dubious but checked reviews before we went and decided to give it a ago. New building, clean tidy. The lady with the amazing hair was so awesome. Very patient, wonderful service. And the food!!! Delicious. The ribs were *chefs kiss* and the southern style chicken burger just wow *drools* definitely will be back.

We enjoyed a very tasty lunch Snitzel with mushroom sauce yummy and Hot Pot pie our disabled brother just loved his meal not one crumb left!

Wow this place is awesome 👌 it's our new local and we're from Rolly. The barmaid Leanne is totally wonderful, feels like whanau, and the bar is so warm and friendly, food is delicious, affordable, and professionally served, well done!!

We went for dinner last Friday 24th September. All of us had burgers, they were great. Staff were very helpful and friendly, would definitely recommend this pub for a meal John and Jill Summerfield

First time there and they had karaoke on, great food couldn't fault it...but the best was the staff amazing, amazing amazing 110% out of 100% they made us feel at home, Casey and her staff are beautiful so friendly x

Just went out to dinner and a few drinks at Armadillos on the Main South Road, Islington. The food was fantastic and the staff and overall service sensational. We would highly recommend you both eating and drinking at this fairly new establishment. As Arnie says, "I'll Be Back".

The staff member who looked after us was over friendly and appeared to be too concerned with her own life issues And when we went to pay non one was on attendence She then complaint that technically she was on her break. Maybe there should have been another person to help her

I go to this venue to have the blue cod meal. Which I reckon is the best value for money in the South Island for what you get. The bar maids are friendly. The beer stubbies are ice cold. You get 5 stars from me. A great place for that return visit. Cheers may it continue

Great ambience, a "real" pub. Might not be everyone's cup of tea though. Very big on racing with TVs everywhere. Thursday at 5 is dice night where you roll to win your round for free. Free food on offer often as well great outdoor setting.

I've heard this place can be rough but I haven't experienced any of that it's busy friendly loud and vibant the staff do there very best even when the eftpos goes out and that is no mean feat
