J.Nice bar/restaurant.
Had warm welcoming on arrival, staff (maybe a manager or owner?) was very friendly.
Aw we went on Monday night, bar was quiet,warm and cozy which we loved.
Ordered pork ribs, fried chicken, mini 3 burgers and pineapple slaw for 2 people.
Foods served quick and was GREAT.
If we were hungry hippos then would have ordered more ribs and chicken.
Absolutely would love to go back again :)
M.One of the best dining experiences I have had in a long time. Very satisfied with the food, cocktails and loved the atmosphere and music. Staff where polite and helpful. Also one of the largest selections of spirits I have seen in a restaurant before! We got the chefs choice meal and was pleasantly surprised by some dishes I wouldn't normally try
A.Really great atmosphere, drinks, and flavor. Not great options for vegans/vegetarians and I think I would have enjoyed the place more if I ate meat. Also, the share plates were quite expensive for such a small portion. I got the cauliflower (in the picture), which was delicious, but was $15.
j.We had the 'Trust the chef' dinner option, food was great! Full of flavor, only thing that would be helpful is if they had high chairs for kids there were a few other families with babies when we visited also.
K.Came here to celebrate my 21st birthday with a group of friends, staff were very catering and lovely. My friends and I loved the atmosphere of this place, great live music and the performer even let us request songs! Food was amazing and the cocktail that I ordered has to be the best one I’ve had in chch. Thank you so much for a great night, we will definitely be back here!
R.Cozy venue. The night we arrived you could hear the band broadcast on the street with speakers. A good way to preview the music to see if you want to commit. You must climb stairs to enter from the street. I don't believe there was an elevator.
R.Everything about Boo Bradley's is awesome. I recommend you trust the chef, and get a jug of margarita while you wait. The pretzel bread is hands down my fave, with the chilli butter on the side. If you love great food, bourbon, and live music, this is the place for you on a fri/sat night.

K.I've heard it can be overly loud her but it was a quiet Sunday so no issue. Friendly service. Good beer and wine selection. Really really tasty food. We enjoyed all of our meals. Nice ambiance
J.A nice little nook in the CBD that offers live acoustic entertainment. They have a wide selection of beverages and some light snacks to go with your drink of choice. Cozy and cool!

k.Came in pretty late and annoying ordered some bar food, the staff welcomed me in and sorted me out with fantastic service and live music. Although I only came in for one cocktail the Cocktail menu itself is probably one of the best I’ve seen, as a bartender I rarely see a menu in which I’d drink Everything on there (including all the bourbons 😉). Will definitely be back !

L.Oh wow!! So delicious!! Every dish was loaded with flavor and high quality. The service was great too! Lots of gluten-free and dairy-free options. Ribs were fall of the bone, the seared tuna was beautiful to taste and the spiced nuts were such a nice treat to enjoy with our bourbon.

E.Good live music venue. Great vibe and atmosphere with an intimate feel. Decor is on point and the cocktails are top notch. Definitely try the pumpkin spiced espresso martini if it's your thing.
M.I went with a group of friends last night to Boo Radleys... All I'm going to say is... Get the fried chicken 😳😳.. I don't know what magic the chef out the back is up to but seriously can I have all the chicken all the time 😳😳😂😂....
The bar is a cosy space with super cumfy booths and staff that enjoy a good banter.. The live music was out the gate with some talented female soul singers lighting up the environment with their saltry voices.... ❤️
A.Great little 'Speakeasy' bar (huge bourbon and drinks list!) and restaurant serving southern cuisine. We took a special trust the chef for 2 w btl of good wine and thoroughly enjoyed our night. Pretzel loaf w chili and butter molasses, southern salad, coated chicken tenderloins with another amazing sauce, roast beef sliders and shoestrings fries, everything packed full of flavour. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. As it's upstairs and not immediately visible by street level large window, it hadn't come into our radar before. We definitely go back and visit their neighbouring gin bar next time too...

J.A funky setting. We were 3 couples. 5 of us shared a variety of food which were all tasty. 6th person was vegan. Not a huge choice for them. A solo man was playing guitar and singing. Was good but too loud as we struggled to talk and hear each other.
T.Fantastic. Had my wife's 50th. Birthday there. They let me come in before it opened so I could decorate. The staff were great especially the young lady who let me in and looked after our table all night. Food was exceptional, for $35 per head everyone had more than enough food, my compliments to the chef. 100% recommended and is certainly one of my go too restaurants in Christchurch.

M.Great bar located upstairs and hidden away. Very friendly staff, great food and drinks menu but not that much variety on the tap beers. This is one my go to each time I visit christchurch. They also have a pool table. Rather quiet ambience so good for catching up with your friends over few drinks.

Some of the best ribs and burgers I've had yet in NZ, but if you're at a booth, you won't be able to hear anyone but the person next to you. I've been there twice and their music is always very talented and fun to listen to, which is good because you won't be able to hear anyone else for the rest of the night.
F.Friendly staff and and an overall good vibe for a Thursday night. The live music was an acoustic set where the dude was doing some pretty solid medley style mixing.
Food is good and made to share between everyone at the table, or just eat it all yourself, but sharing is caring.

T.First impressions of resturant was good. Music playing was too loud to hear waitress though. We ordered our food based on the waitress suggestions. Was a bit surprised that the table next to us recieved all their food before us considering we ordered at least 15 mins before them. Loaded tater tots were luke warm but tasty. Southern fried chicken was amazing but maple syrup was very watered down and almost vinegary tasting. Cost was high compared to the size of the dishes. I Would recommend trying this place out.

L.Really nice food and quick service, would defiantly come back for some more! Needs to come with a salad or chips on the side without paying extra. Found the staff wanted to get us out of the place very quickly even though we came when it was quite! They came by our table every 5 minutes to clear plates which was very annoying and when there wasn’t plates to collect, would come by and look at our table for more plates! I ended up watching my friend eat her food and get her cutlery taken away while she was still eating, made us feel very rushed and unsettled

A.I originally only came here to get cocktails with my mate because the drinks and the bar stuff is so amazing. Eventually I came here for dinner and it was exceptional! They also provide entertainment here on some nights which is a great touch. Favorite place in Christchurch!

A.Bourbon & coke pork ribs were the best I have ever had. Onion rings & sliders were absolutely incredible, cant fault anything at all here, live music was brilliant too.
J.3rd time here and once again did not disappoint. Great food, great wine and great atmosphere. Definitely recommend heading down on a live music night, and try the Mac n cheese bites!

T.We might have had an off night in the kitchen...food took ages to come out and only 3 other tables in resturant. Food was luke warm. Smokers area at the front door which then smelt out the resturant which was very off putting. Waitress lovely so will try again and see if any better.
S.Went with a group of friends - couldnt book so had to arrive early to make site we would get a table, the food came out really fast and was amazing! We got a bit of everything to try all was so good, cocktails looked amazing but were about $17. We got a lot of food for what we paid, the atmosphere was really great abd unique and the music was nice and relaxing. I feel they needed more staff on as we went up to pay and took 15mins to serve us to pay our bill to go if it wasnt for this would have been 5 stars but the staff didnt apologize or acknowledge us which I found to be poor considering apart from this the staff were so friendly and service was quick the end just let it down so mayb next time ask them to bring bill to you, overall I would go back again as had a great time
A.This is an ammended post: we went to Boo Radleys on a recommendation and were having a wonderful night when an unfortunate incident occurred. We were forced to cut our night short and wrote a message to the owner/manager, letting him know what had happened. The way it all was treated was incredibly professional and sympathetic. The owner and manager went out of their way to remedy the situation and to prove to us both what a great establishment they truly ran. We are incredibly grateful for how they treated us and what happened and would fully recommend a visit here. The food and drinks are delicious and the live music is on point! Thank you so very much Boo Radleys!

Y.I loved their creme brulee cocktail. But it's way too noisy to talk to someone. It might be normal for bars but... isn't it weird not being able to have conversation? Then what was the point to go there with friends? So I can't give 5 stars but I fell in love with their drink.

c.OMG this place is awesome, the atmosphere and service is exceptional and the food was absolutely amazing, there's some great bars popping up in Christchurch at the moment, and my husband and I experience new restaurants on a regular basis, so we like to pride ourselves on recognizing quality good food. Boo Radley's would have to be up there as one of our fav's and we will definitely be going back.
B.I’m not sure I’d say it southern (being from Nashville) but it definitely has its influences there and is delicious and good music. The bourbon selection is also pretty impressive, if slightly overpriced.

J.I visited this place on a Wednesday night and it was nice and quiet. The drinks were very good and the food was excellent. It was served tapas style so the portions were small but very tasty. Very nice place.
