Had a lovely experience here, the staff were super friendly and we had some great conversation with them. All of our food was great, but the calamari was just incredible - really recommend it to everyone! Just such a great balance of flavours, honestly one of the best things I have ever eaten. Will be back next time I am in Christchurch.

Nice atmosphere, good beers, the food is simple (pizza, salads, nibbles) but done well and it's tasty. The tasting paddle is a good way to try a few of their beers. Recommend poping in for a drink or two for sure!

Had an awesome sunday brunch here in the weekend, the sign at the door said beer and pizza so we were sold! The eggs Benedict was also really great!! Staff were super friendly and the decor and atmosphere fun and comfy. Will definitely be back !

Thank you so much for hosting an amazing Christmas works party. The staff were attentive and friendly and made sure our drinks were always topped up. The food was so good ! The cauliflower was a firm favorite and still being talked about now. The pizzas were also delicious and the amount of food provided was very generous for the price. We had my daughters 21st last weekend and we had the best night!! Mason and his team were so welcoming and made the evening a great success. The area allocated to us was perfect. The staff are friendly the food was fantastic and it was well priced. Would highly recommend. Thank you very much to the team at Kaiser.

Had a great night here at a Whiskey tasting evening. This place is amazing inside with several levels of bars and restaurants and tables. Its simply a nice place to have a look through. This is in the CBD so you would need to consider car parking. Either a building or on the street. Good food and a great choice of drinks (not cheap) it is good place to check out.

Kia Ora! I would just like to say that the service myself and my friends got last Saturday night was like no other! We were a group of nine celebrating graduation and thought your bar would be the best place to finish the night. Your staff are so wonderful and very patient with us especially with those of our party who were late. The food was absolutely incredible and the drinks were outstanding. Our best dining experience in Christchurch for a long time. Didn’t get manager’s name ( 1300 16/8/21) but he was awesome. Saw him making every customer feel special. We’ve always had nice beer here but now they have got menu nailed!! Amazing small plates range… taste sensations!! These guys obviously don’t take their customers for granted and work hard to keep them. Made for a great day! Felt good to hand our money over 😃 will be back soon

We had our Christmas staff party of 50 people at Kaiser on a Friday lunchtime. The staff did extremely well with the amount of people that attended this event; which was a huge success. Mason was in contact with us leading right up until the event. Thank you very much for making this event run smoothly and providing a great venue.

I have been meaning to post a review here. I normally come in for some drinks and a bowl of fries, the beers were amazing to begin with and fries are definitely to die for. I am pleased that stein is even an option! However, my last two visits have been slightly disappointing. Service was fantastic as always but the beers seemed to have gone worse, in my opinion. Everything tasted way too sweet/malty even for an IPA. My BF and I felt like the Tiger was the best option amongst their selection. Mind you, we haven't returned since a quiz night a few months ago. We were going at least once a week before then. I'd be willing to give the place another try though.

Went for the bottomless brunch for a friend's birthday - pretty average as bottomless brunches go. The best thing was that they did was bring new prosecco regularly, which can be a problem at some places. We weren't impressed that my partners dish of Bratwurst Hash came with eggs which he cant eat, though they weren't listed on the menu for that dish. We had pre-ordered our dishes, so we weren't able to check these kinds of things. But the menu should be an accurate reflection of the dishes, especially when a major component of it isn't listed. We mentioned this to a waitress when it was served and she just shrugged it off. I would have thought we'd be offered an alternative side or at least an apology. Quite disappointing service response. The baked beans dish i got was a good serving size (almost too much) but the beans were not very flavourful, haloumi was good. Unfortunately the coffees were also bland. I heard from my friends that the French toast, Eggs Benedict and Avocado toast were good however.

Decided to try here for a change at Riverside market. Great selection of places to sit, delicious fresh beer (between us we tried the Pilsener and Porter - both first class) and the smoked salmon pizza with fresh herbs was absolutely delicious. Friendly staff. Will definitely be back.

We had the best service at Kaiser. The food was phenomenal and Natalia was such a fantastic waitress. Natalia really made our day and delivered the upmost professional and friendly service. We cannot recommend Kaiser enough. We will be back :)

Friee chicken was nice, limited options. Good to be able to get a Stein. Price is a little up there for what you get but understandable for the strip. And our server was lovely.

We enjoyed lunch here. We had the bratwurst and chorizo pizza to share between two people. We also ordered kumara fries, which were more like wedges and I loved them! Esp with the sauces provided. So delicious!! Really friendly service too. It opens at 11:30 and that's when we went, and on a weekday. So if you want it nice and quiet go then before it gets busier.

A hidden gem inside Riverside Markets. Just a small entrance from the street but with a lot to offer inside. Multiple seating arrangements, with the best being sitting outside in the filtered sunlight. Pleasant service and great food; try the Kumara chips.

The place made a mistake and charged me incorrectly which was fixed my Mason pretty quickly over email and saved me a trip to come back and get it sorted. Thank you Mason! I appreciate that and also the voucher was sent which was unexpected. The place is nice to chill and has good food!

I went to this place earlier this week and was delightfully surprised. It is now on my very short list of places to go out and enjoy life for a little while. It has the right mix of ambiance, food and (of course) good craft beer that welcome people, and give them a chance to exchange current day-to-day woes for something much more positive. And this may sound strange, but they have one of the best toilet areas I have ever seen in a restaurant. Anyway, worth the visit!

The beers. Oh Lordy, the beers! Worth a trip just to try out the latest fermentation experiments. Came here for a conference dinner and the place was heaving! The platters and pizzas were delicious and will certainly entice me back to sample what else is on offer. The loss of the star is due to the team struggling to get our food out efficiently, but like I said, they were heaving that night! I'll still be back 👍

I was really surprised at how good the food was. The roast vegetable vegan pizza and fried cauliflower was delicious. The beer tasting paddle is also an awesome way to try a mix of beers and pick out a favourite. I can't stop talking about how great my experience was. I'll definitely be back!

Group of 5, booked a table for dinner and drinks on a Friday 6pm. I had the Margherita Pizza which was fantastic. Nice soft dough, beautiful cheese! The down side to the experience was the live dj was way to loud. Originally had our table inside, decided to move to outside where it was a wee bit quieter. Soon enough the music was louder to point it was getting difficult to have a conversation with people across the table. I recommend the food but be careful of the time of day you go.

Been here three times. Cant fault the service always attentive. They come and take your drinks orders on a regular basis, don't need to go up to the bar. Pizzas are amazing, nice thin base. Highly recommend, this place has as great vibe.

We had an end of tour lunch at Kaiser Brew Bar, Taylor looked after us and he was so awesome!! Taylor’s level of service - attention & level of service plus food & drink recommendations were just what a group of us girls after 4 days on a golf tour needed!! I’ll make sure Kaiser is on my next Christchurch tour of places to dine at 💜

We had a 30th here, it was exceptionally planned! The food was delicious as always and the staff were so friendly, helpful and accomodating, despite being short staffed from covid you wouldn’t know at all. So easy to communicate with and book everything in, absolutely would recommend to anyone wanting to book a small/medium function in Christchurch. Great job rockstars!
