M.This a great country pub with yummy reasonable priced food.Great personal service and probrably the best garden bar in South Canterbury
N.The pub way exceeded our expectations! I was prepared for basic pub grub but it was good quality and well-priced and just an all around good vibe inside. Nice for a rainy night.
C.Really good food (excellent ribeye, burgers and belly pork from our experience), really good beer (particularly well kept Cassels milk stout on nitro), really friendly, helpful staff, great inside bar with loads of space and comfy, good outside beer garden and dog friendly outside too. Highly recommended!
B.A great well operated country pub in that wonderful historic style. A fabulous trip back in time with the traditional relaxed atmosphere and also run by the boss and his partner which is not common nowadays.
