Fantastic service. We were celebrating a birthday. No faults in the food that we all picked. Would recommend. We didn't have a Birthday Cake. They made us all a dessert , the birthday girl enjoyed every mouthful. Just be careful when ordering a wine. Small pour 150 double the price for 250. Looking around $19.

I love coming to Pedal Pusher not only because the staff are so inviting and friendly, but because it's an experience not only do they have an incredible atmosphere and beautiful interior design, but it's so warming and the food is unbelievable, it just feels so nice to be there. It's definitely a jewel 💎 in the heart of Christchurch which is worth visiting to get a meal at and catch up with a friend, the perfect place really.Ordered beef burger as well as pork hash. It's a Giant Burger comes with fries. Will recommend this place. Cheers

Such friendly staff here at Pedal Pusher Addington. Menu requests where not a problem (gf) i ordered the creamy mushrooms and to be honest I believe they’re the best I’ve ever had! Hubby ordered the southern fried chicken burger which he said was very good as well. Will definitely be coming back.

Mixed feelings… we were the only people there for lunch. The waiter/ manager was very friendly. One meal… the burger special was nice, fresh and worth the price but not worth the regular price. The other meal, scrambled eggs and bacon was very average… very small and a small portion of flavourless, overcooked bacon. Our glasses were almost empty when our meals delivered but we were not asked if we wanted another drink. Then when our meals finished and obviously so… we waited 10 minutes before giving up waiting then paying and leaving. We would have bought 2 more drinks each, $50.00 they missed that looks like they could have done with. Nice but not great.

Enjoyed my time at the networking meeting the other day. Good coffee and a great muffin for breakfast. Spacious inside and it was nice and warm given that there was rain falling heavily outside. Car parking is normally ok but can be quite difficult at times meaning you have to persevere. Nonetheless worthy of a visit as if was service and food.

Beautiful food and amazing service, if you want the most melt in mouth squid this is the place to get it the garlic flat bread is so nice and the chilli chicken is lovely with a nice kick, I didn’t try the polenta chips but there were no complaints from my table. Will definitely be back soon.

Fantastic food!!! I got the brisket sandwich which was awesome. My husband got the beef rump which easily stole the show! We had a GrabOne so got both delicious meals for $25. It was a bit slow coming out but definitely worth the wait! It was absolutely delicious.

This place is amazing! Tried it on a FirstTable deal and had to go back the next day to get it again it was that good. Waitress was wonderful, super nice and made sure we were happy and sorted. Definitely recommend the Garlic Bread and the French Toast!!! Really well priced for the quality, and big portion sizes. They also have $10 cocktails (; Overall: new favorite place in Christchurch.

We had a nice dinner here, after getting a FirstTable voucher. We had the beef burger and the bacon-wrapped-chicken, and they were both good. Seems to be a popular place for after work drinks but cleared out around 6pm or soon after so it was nice and quiet. We had good service.

Great service and great food. My party chose a variety of dishes from the menu. All were amazing. In fact we had food envy looking at what other diners were being served. The chicken salad with crispy noodles is to die for! Will definitely be returning to try out more from the menu.

Caught up with friends from Auckland last night. True southern hospitality- made us all feel special, welcoming, friendly and they didn't rush us at all. They had a variety of drinks and we were in a mood to experiment chose the lounge lizard, summer Havana and beers, later on for desserts the Jaffalicious We ordered a variety of small plates since our group had special dietary requirements and the mains portion were massive for the price. Can't believe we missed out on this hidden gem- would definitely be our favourite local pub and will most definitely bring our tourist friends here to show what a kiwi pub should actually represent. Thank you for an amazing night of love and laughter. 5 stars!!

We arrived at the Bar/Restaurant and was immediately greeted by a very nice young lady who showed us to our table, she asked us if we would like drinks, she took our order and returned with them straight away, she said she would give us 5 mins to look through the menu, she came back to us and took our orders, within 10 minutes she was back with our meals, we both had a caesar salad with salmon, the lettuce was fresh and crisp, there were slithers of smoked bacon, beautiful salmon and crispy croutons. We really enjoyed our meal and will return for sure.

What a wonderful experience. I will start with the staff, the gentleman who showed us to our table and took our orders and looked after us through out the meal was brilliant, really have I found anyone so welcoming and friendly. The food, we started with the Small plate, this was a great choice. We had the asian style ribs which were so tender the meat feel off them, the wings which were delishish and had a real kick to them, the lamb meatballs which had tonnes of flavours and finally the popcorn chicken which was seasons so well I didn't even worry about the sauce it came with. I also had the beef burger as my main which i also really enjoy, although due to an over toasted bun, not as much as the small plates. Over all this is an easy 5 star and I will be going back.

We went to the Pedal Pusher for lunch on a weekday - a team of 6 colleagues. For me this was the first visiting. The mains I had - vegetarian burger- was quite a big size, nice and well presented. It came with a portion of fries, served with aioli and tomato ketchup. More than enough for a working day lunch! The service was quick and courteous. There were not many customers in the restaurant when we went. All in all, a good first experience for me.

I had seafood chowder which I normally enjoy but this one had alot of onion in it, which was unusual in my opinion as it has a strange flavor, so I only had about a quarter of a cup. Really nice service but our poor server apologised repeatedly for dishes not offered that are listed online, so suggest including Addington's current menu on your website. We don't generally enjoy pub food but chose the restaurant after reviewing the winter menu and seeing about half a dozen small plates we would enjoy sharing, but on arrival none were on the actual menu!

Singh mandeep the manager went above and beyond for us. He made our lunch perfect. He was a fantastic server and very kind. Even allowed us to use his personal hotspot for our laptops for a little bit. It was a quite day so he can do things like this. I even saw him handle a difficult customer with the upmost integrity and respect. If we come back to Christchurch on holiday we will make a specific trip here again.

Classic pub style establishment. Large range of bottled beer and tap options. Good place to go for "Happy Hour" or for the daily food specials which are good value. Standard menu you would expect at a pub: burgers, fish and chips etc, I would say food is a bit pricey for what it is outside of the daily special. If you're looking for somewhere to meet a few friends and have a drink and a small bite to eat for not too much money this could be a good option.

Charcoal risotto balls, similarly overcooked polenta fries, and seafood chowder which was both hot and cold as if it had microwaved and served without first being stirred. Great value platter and dessert - really enjoyed the variety. Sadly the beer was short. Heineken have already ripped off their customers by resorting to the old trick of reducing the volume of the product but maintaining the same price. It's worse when your beer is well below the minimum mark of the star on the glass that they advertise.

Arrived here with several work colleagues at 4pm Friday. The guy on the bar had a face that suggested he was having a cr*p day and that we were an inconvenience to him. Pretty much stayed that way. He did not ask what size cocktails we would like and preceded to make them anyway. Any request seemed like a problem. Not good hospitality! Otherwise ok. Snacks arrived quickly and atmosphere is ok.
