M.Yum, yum, yum! I love a good stout and Two Thumb knows how to make one amongst all its other excellent beers on offer.The platters are excellent and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. It's a must to visit here and then you will find yourself coming back time and time again. Raising a big Two Thumbs!!
L.We had an awesome night there! Old Skool playing, 21st birthday party there, and everyone was dancing! The beer is great as well, good selection and very tasty. Still a great place to have a beer. Outdoor seating and cruisy brews, great atmosphere

B.We were down from Hamilton on week end trip. And we looked up this place. What a gem this little Christchurch brewery & bar is, tucked away, so you have to go and look for it. You will not be dissapointed, just be aware of the opening and closing times (on the web site) when you visit. We were in there on a Saturday eve and it was awesome, a great atmosphere, people were very friendly, and the beers were top class, we had the Scotish Ale & the NZ Pale Ale. It was so good to be served on the hand pumps of which they have 4, all with different beers, as well as tap beers. Well done guys as Poms we were in beer heaven, we had a great evening, thanks.
I.We love this place & it has quickly become a favourite stop of ours to visit each week. A friend introduced me to buying their riggers of beer online for collection during lockdown & I fell for their hoppy Red Rye IPA, Anchor Me Hazy Pale Ale & California Dreaming malty steam ale. My partner enjoys the lighter Kolsch, Uprising blonde ale & particularly the unusual turmeric flavoured pilsner.
Now it's great roomy beer shed is a regular haunt for us, accompanied by cool musical playlists & an eclectic mix of food trucks outside from week to week. With welcoming & considerate bar staff to polish off the experience, we look forward to going there every time, without fail.
S.Ok so it seems the CHCH craft beer secret is out. Casual sofa seating, and casual feel, with a few tables and good beer.
If you want a casual meeting place to try make a deal happen or to avoid the 20's abd their possy standing at the bar's everywhere in town.
This is a great spot to be, good beer and people, not the biggest space but it has character and is a bit different so well worth a couple of beers and they delivered in lockdown too!
O.Really cool little bar/brewery tucked away off the main street. The guys serving were really good and knowledgeable about the beer. My wife came along and she doesn't really drink beer so the guys offered up some of the ginger beer they brew which was great. The beers are top notch

Walked in and Booker T and the MGs was the music. Reasonable prices, proper pints, friendly staff and comfortable surroundings.

A.Well worth the search, homely grunge (garage) with friendly faces and fine fresh ales, good range including a couple of Garage Project guest kegs when I visited. Beer is never happier than when it's enjoyed at source!
B.I've tried every beer in their core range plus hop helmet and the new england IPA.
The red rye IPA is beautifully balanced and likely the best rye IPA I've had. The Kölsch is one of those beers I would be happy to drink ice cold all day, it's light with lots of great fruit notes. The oatmeal Stout is one of the most drinkable stouts I've had. And would just call to me on a rainy day. With that said, my favorite was probably the hop helmet as I tend to like big hoppy IPAs.
I had just come back after 5 months in Antarctica and I couldn't be happier to find all of these skillfully crafted, fresh and unpasteurized beers right in Christchurch .
They had one guest tap when I was in, along with two ales on hand pull. Certainly make two thumbs a stop in your travels.
R.Amazing brewery staffed by amazing brewers. A must do for any beer fan visiting or living in CHCH. Their beer is almost always brewed with NZ grown grain and hops...the result? Unparalleled (and unpasteurized) fresh beer deliciousness. The brewers there are also happy to give fun tours of the place, and buying their awesome beer there directly is very cost effective. As someone who's sought and savored craft beer worldwide, I highly recommend this tucked-away CHCH gem.

Location molto open friendly, ma vivi il fascino del micro birrificio, sala cottura, malto fermentatori un bel viaggio insomma. Prodotti validi e vasta scelta, in inverno come un po' ovunque gli elementi termici rovinano un po' l atmosfera. Prezzi da tap room se siete in zona e amate la birra fateci un giro. Da mangiare non c é molto, solo tanto da bere.
