V.Friendly staff. Excellent service. The food was delicious. Great coffee. Also bought a piece of fudge on the way out...omg! It was AMAZING!
M.These guys opened up specifically on a public holiday for our team to have a bit of a work lunch which was awesome. The food was absolutely amazing, could not have asked for a more amazing experience getting to see what turned up each time, we all left stuffed with snacks for later. Would highly recommend for anyone looking at a get together.
R.Visited this place after a long time. New owners, New to me atleast. Still looks very tidy and inviting. Coffee was spot on. Place with several tables packed with professional people, virtually no music, making conversations not too private. Didn't eat anything so can't comment on food or service. Will be back for sure.
J.Loved the marinated steak and patatas bravas, the chicken, empanadas, and arancini was so so. Would come back again to try other stuff but most definitely will come back for the steak.
7.Amazing food, great service and generous servings. Highly recommend! The flavor balancing is sublime. Everything was delicious. Pork belly and angus steak pictured with the pear and walnut salad and marinated olives. All great! Churros for dessert were also amazing!
D.Vision AV Ltd had our work Christmas function here last Friday night. The ambiance was warm and inviting, the food was well presented, plentiful and delicious. The service was outstanding. I highly recommend Laneway for a function or private dining.

R.Absolutely love this place. Nestled away down Bath St in Dunedin CBD it brings a vibe you wouldn't expect just walking past. The staff are so helpful and kind, willing to impart their wisdom of the menu you have in front of you. The fire roaring makes it feel so homely and comforting for a nice meal out. I usually go here for breakfast when I need a good pick me up but tonight's dinner takes this place to another level for me. If you can't sit down for a meal the slices are to die for. Always great quality.
Can't wait to head back again. One of my top picks for some tapas or even breakfast the next day also.

M.Had lunch here with friends. Delicious food and coffee. My favourites were the pear salad, beetroot salad and angus beef. Friendly staff with welcoming service. Ambiance is minimalist and cozy. Will come back again and highly recommend to others.

S.Very friendly and helpful staff and the food...WOW! We weren't sure what to expect but heard good things and everything we heard was well earned. Lots of great flavours in their food. The stuffed chicken is worth the wait and the crust on the marinated beef is extraordinary. Looking forward to our next visit.

It did not meet expectations. The tapas were hit and miss. The price would have been acceptable if they were all good.
The "crispy" pork belly was best described as flaccid. We sent it back to be made again but the second attempt was the same. It should not have left the kitchen either time and was taken off the bill.

M.Absolutely amazing service and the food was great. The atmosphere is really cool and the art is also wonderful. The vibe of the whole place is really sleek yet chill. It h s warm atmosphere and very interesting decor. The food and coffee was quite lovely, and I especially love the fact that some of the art on the walls is for sale.
P.Wonderful service from Ashley. We had a great meal followed by dessert. We loved one of our desserts but were slightly underwhelmed by one. The Management kindly deducted both desserts from our account. Totally recommend the Laneway.

S.Beautiful space and great coffee. The bar is much bigger than it appears from the outside and beautifully appointed. Sadly my experience was rather spoiled by the waitress insisting on checking the signature on my credit card for a $4 charge with a rather unpleasant look, which I took to mean that she suspected me of trying to do something wrong. Unwelcoming enough that I would hesitate to return.

D.Came to the Laneway for breakfast 4 times (while in Dunedin for work), as I really enjoyed the experience, food and coffee. It's open at 7am so suits anyone in Dunedin for work that starts early. Would recommend this place to anyone.

S.Great tapas. Most people will eat two though and the tables are not big enough for all the dishes. Drinks list is not extensive but it's good stuff and priced ok. Will go back.

R.Googled "Dunedin tapas". Laneway came up high on the list. Despite not being able to access Facebook it looked enticing. It was: excellent tapas lunch with just enough to share but not too much. Have a problem recommending: too fulsome praise will make it difficult to get a table!
R.Desert Review. Taps desert, great idea but the selection of dishes lost some of their elements to get 5 desserts on the plate. For example the chocolate cake was missing some cream or ice cream. The crumble was amazing.
