W.Always an enjoyable experience at Woof! Good to see staff take Covid seriously, with masks, table service and checking vaccine passes. The music and atmosphere is great. We enjoyed the fries for $10 which is great nibble food with our drinks. Drinks are a little pricey ($9-16) and there could be more choice of tap beers, particularly lagers and Weiss biers (it's all about ales these days). There is one Zeffer cider on tap which is nice. Would always go again while visiting Dunedin.
A.Probably the best big-city-feel bar in Dunedin. Woof has a (very) wide range of good, (often local) beers, wines, spirits, and craft softies. Lots of seating and a great place to start (or end) the night. The staff and owners are so friendly and knowledgeable. Honestly just a lovely place to stop for a drink and a bowl of nori chips! Always vibey no matter the night and always my no.1 Dunedin night time recommendation.
B.An awesome busy place. Marvelous decor, great friendly staff and the music soundtracks playing are fabulous.
I would recommend this place to everyone. And while you can walk in and be seated I recommend reserving a table in advance as it's a busy pumping bar/restaurant.

K.One of the coolest spots for cocktails and snacks I've ever been to. The staff are amazing and so outwardly inclusive which is a beautiful touch. Drinks Menu is so good and the small plates delicious.
E.Great staff. Great atmosphere. Super nice with the background music not being to loud, perfect for hanging out with friends. You can bring your dog inside, which should be the new normal in ALL places. This guys are simply trendsetters ;)
R.My favourite place in Dunedin, hands down. Fantastic service and a wide (and ever changing) range of drinks. If you like a cocktail and a cheese ball, look no further! The staff are amazing and dogs are welcome.
