Absolutely enjoyed our lunch date out with a couple good friends. The shared lunch meals 🤤 the battered seafood dish, pork belly bites, crispy chicken nibbles doused in bbq sauce to top it off. The Garlic bread 🥰🤤 soo light. Bloody marvelous I must say. Well priced, Excellent, friendly service. Highly recommended 👍 well done.

Great place went in played a massive round of pool had a good time on Tokyo dry draught beer there were several of us sitting inside and outside service fast and on Point clean toilets well coming place to watch the game they run a van service as a drop off so you don't need to drink and drive I chose to lime scooter

Decent bar for the locals and they had 3Wolves on tap. A different $20 meal special every night and our meals were delicious. They had an issue in the kitchen so our meals took about 45 mins to come out. Thus, 4 stars.

A very clean and welcoming bar, child friendly,happy atmosphere and the food was excellent, served very quickly after ordering,and I their idea of SMALL is different from most, none of my friends (2 larger males with a "need for a feed") or myself came anywhere near finishing our SMALL meals.

Wow how big are the meals here, had tender ribs with chips, salad and a pint for $20 and for a big guy I did struggle to eat the lot. Just amazing. The wife had fish and chips, 4 beautiful beer battered fish lots of chips and fresh salad. What a great place seemingly in the middle of nowhere. All the sports Live on a heap of screens, even in the urinal so you never miss a moment. All so tidy. 10/10

Comfortable environment with great staff, decent food and pretty good pub deals. They always have something going on and you'll never miss a game with multiple t.vs around the place. A local with good vibes.

Great value for money. Consistently good food. We come here regularly. Generous gurnard portions with salad and fries. The chicken burger also tasty and large chicken portion. Staff friendly. I recommend trying for a non fussy lunch or dinner.

Went there with our class, and the staff were very hospitable, really nice atmosphere, both inside and out, and the food was absolutely delicious, every single plate that was served was absolutely amazing, with those portion sizes exceeding over and above the appetites of all. Used to almost live in the tavern years ago ,but now live in ngaruawahia. Golf was canned cause of the weather on sat,so made a couple of phone calls, and a bunch of us descended on the tavern for an afternoon of punting and drinking. Nothing has changed from the way they run the place.keen friendly staff and spotless presentation.will definitely return

An all round great sports bar. Really good meals. Heaps of TV's. On the weekends they even give out sausages and bread for free which is a nice touch. Have been a local at the tav for years now and never had a bad time. Staff are friendly

Its friendly the staff actually chat to you and are always willing to go the extra step to make you feel welcome The free sausage or meats is awesum. It has a real homely feeling . I would say it was the best all round drinking , dining and meeting establishment in hamilton . Very family orientated . The meals are awesome and so filling .

I enjoy going to this bar with my sister because its a place where we can go to catchup and relax over a beer have a meal, a chin wag and enjoy the evening sun as it sets outside. The atmosphere is relaxed and the punters around us are always friendly without being intrusive. The bar offers different specials every night so there is always a chance to have a good night out without costing a fortune. Then head inside for a short game of pokies then head home.

Awesome place. Always plays the ufc on the big screen. Place is clean with a happy family friendly vibe. Even has TV in the bathroom so you don't miss a second of the action. Best sports bar in town
