Awesome aquatic centre in Invercargill. Best to buy a family pass, if going with the family. There is a warm splash/wave pool, swimming lanes, diving boards, spa, sauna and Hydro-slides. There is a cafe on site as well, but it may have different operating hours

Very crowded and small facility. With sport on it was even worse especially trying to get stuff in and out of lockers with people standing in front of them. Website says waves and sprays from 4pm but this didn't happen. Pool designed for toddlers was colder than expected and seems unsafe with the lower wall leading to a drop. Floor of leisure pool had grainy bits that I had to wipe off my feet constantly. Changing rooms average. Sign saying if you use the showers please tell someone so they can clean it. Does this mean it's only cleaned if sone says they have used it? My 5 year old had fun so gets 3 stars.

Great place to go and spend hours. Diving boards or learners pool aren't open as much as they could be through the holidays especially when you have a few younger ones to keep an eye on in shallower water that don't always like staying put or like to follow older ones to Deepwater. Hydroslide open till 6pm school holidays. Wave pool waves get bigger close to 7pm and on its awesome then! Enough floaties around. Could do with some more inflatables. Sauna whirl pool and plunge pool are great. Helpful staff but some younger ones could do with a class dealing in customer relations.

Great place to swim, have a sauna and got pool as well. Family friendly too. Highly recommended!

My boys had a great time. 3 slides. Food and drink availability. Lockers to use. Ladies were great and understanding

Splash Palace is a great facility. Have just started to get back into swimming after a long time of not doing regular swimming.. Just doing laps in the slow lane for a start. How is it best to deal with a very competent swimmer who was doing laps today in the slow lane. It was difficult to deal with

Awesome pools great slides and all round fun for family

Family loved it, especially the hydroxide, eldest boy liked the sauna

Pricey for a pool and the only one I have been to with a separate charge for the slide. Also when we reported to staff that there was a small girl (around 5) in the men's changing room there was no response bit poor. Other poolside staff were lovely however small girl in the mens us a problem then my daughter said there were boys in the girls changing room. There are family facilities available

Neat pool, swimming lessons great for the critter

Wow. Fantastic Hydroslides. 2 fast ones and a raft slide with 1 and 2 person rafts. A large 50 metre swim pool and a wave pool. Hot pool and a sauna. Something for everyone. Good family fun. A must to visit.

Ok for the price. A bit dissapointed with the wave. So small we hardly feel anything. My boys do enjoy jumping from the 2 metre plank. The sauna n swirling pool is good for adult. Putting the basketball ring is a great idea for fun...

Great place for us young uns.

Was a great time for me and my son. Being that neither of us were confident in the water I was skeptical about different parts of the pool. But we managed thru everything with having the foam pads for support and plenty of life guards on the look out. The life guard that was on duty at the hydroslide however was not 100%attentive and didn't look as tho he was paying attention as to who was going down. I just think they should never assume just because it's an adult that the person is safe. Overall a great pool with plenty to keep families entertained 😊

It looks colorful and inviting. Service with a smile. The nephew enjoyed the heated pool with the basket ball hoop. He really liked the hydro slide. A day he won't forget. We definitely will be back.

My first swim today. What a great place. Several pools to choose from of various depths and a spa, sauna and plunge pool as well as a hydro slide. Ample changing rooms and separate ones for schools to use. Great shower facilities. It even has a lovely wee cafe and lots of drink selections.

New slides are very cool, but very pricey for a family of 4, especially if you are just supervising the kids.

Good variety of facilities. Friendly staff. The swirl pool is wonderful to relax in after a work out. Atmosphere encourages people to meet new people in comfortable surrounds. Doesn't stink of chlorine. Good showers and changing rooms. Family change rooms also available. Fitness classes are good too.

Nice clean place for a swim, chill in hot pool or sauna, they even have slide and jumping boards. Perfect for Backpackers looking for cheap shower (6.5 Nzd for everything) and some leisure time

Pleasant staff & pool warm

Great pool! Staff are friendly. Toilets are clean and tidy. My kids do swimming lessons here and have definitely improved! They also have a slide and a wave pool.

We paid around 6.5$ per adult and it was a super good value deal! Because it not only a swimming pool. Spa, sauna and slide are included already without extra charges like some others do. Even got a toke for the locker. and friendly staff.

Best pool for everyone especially sportsmen wanting recovery, good spa, sauna and cold plunge. Would be awesome if they got a steam room tho

Magic great facility. Friendly staff. Good company. Great for the body and the brain. Exercise to your capabilities. No excuses get on down. Just one visit you b hooked. Young mums people on there own or groups. Get into it now dont wait for summer. Even plenty of oldies like myself. And I have heard some people can b helped money wise by social welfare. Also Dr can give out green subscriptions which is funded 10free swims if they think it will b beneficial to your health. then if you like it a wee note to the pension personal. Also available special deals for buying a tickets. Come on up an at it

Went here on a Friday at 3pm kids were looking forward to the wave pool. They did not turn it on as there were too many people. We went there at 10 am and we're told that the wave pool went on at 4pm. So we came back as we were from out of town it was pretty dissapointing.

When we went it was quiet and relaxed. Lots of space as 2 25m pools and leisure pool. Slide fun but short by modern standards. Staff very friendly. Kids liked it.

Always very helpful and kind staff and excellent pool for what you pay compared to other pools around nz been doing here since I was a kid and no other pool do far matchs it

The new padlock they sold is very difficult to use. Unfortunately today I was locked after I swimming and cold. Although the lock had been cut by manager which I'm very appreciated, but I lost $7.5 also. It's only the third time I used the new lock.

This place is one of our favorite place. My son being a busy toddler loves going to the water and this is a very decent size of swimming pool in town. Amazing really tidy and clean, equipped with the safety things and there's life guards around the pool and within the vesinity. One thing that is a little off with previous visit and experience was one of the staff their coffe shop/cafe. As a custor service graduate/student I personally knows how to trait amd deal with customers or clients wether the clients comea from different race. I am an asian and i felt i was not being welcomed with friendly equal treatment. After i got my ordered the next one the staff was looking after was a Caucasian lady... the staff was so attentive and friendly minus the look that was really intimidating like the way she gave me.

Splash Palace has a 50m lane pool which is deep at one end for diving and aquajogging. At busy times, such as when swimming lessons, schools and clubs have booked the lanes, there's not much space to swim lanes and it's crowded. It's busy early morning with pre-work swimmers, in the lunch hour, after school and early evening. Usually there's enough space 9am-12pm, 1-3pm and 8-9pm. There's a large kids' pool which has waves going at times in the weekend and after school. There's a hydroslide which is open outside school hours and there's no extra cost to use it, which is great. There's also a learners pool which is open to the public on weekend afternoons, and a very small baby pool. There's a spa, a sauna and a cold plunge pool but people under 18 are not allowed to use them, which is disappointing for the spa at least as it would be nice for kids to be able to warm up in the hot pool after a swim. Kids are allowed in the hot tub with adult supervision at every other pool I've ever been to so this rule seems a bit discriminatory. There's a little cafe and a swim store where you can buy or hire swimming gear. It's usually reasonably clean and the staff are friendly.

Great place for kids adults, elderly, anyone really. Has a normal pool, wave pool and a dedicated learners pool, hydro slide and diving boards The cafe is next level good as well, all day breakfast to die for

Staff are friendly and acomadating mostly all ways. I don't know if it's just me but with the humidy and possibly new build not sure the chlorine levels are that high I can barely breath and leave with sore throat every time whether swimming myself or not and occasionally a headache . My 6yr old son at the time also got a bad chemical burn from the chlorine not being rinsed I'm guessing of one of the noodles used for swimming lessons. My husband refuses flatly now to go swimming because even though his excma never use to flare up there it certain does and has for the last 10yrs. However I have our youngest son finely participating in swimming lessons and the tutoring is and has all ways been superb.

New hydroslide was great rafts were closed for maintenance which was unfortunate. Great fun day

Really warm pools with good changing facilities and lockers available. Offers swimming experiences for a range of ages and swimming abilities. They also offer swimming lessons and a few swimming clubs use the facilities. Holiday programmes are offered. Inexpensive way to entertain the kids.

It was really great except when I went on the hydroslide I bumped my head really hard and I think I have a big big bruise. Splash palace is awesome. Hydroslide, wave pool, diving boads, inflatable obstacle course thing, good staff and cheap price. Can't be beaten really. Great for cold rainy days.

Great place for everyone especially the kids or adults getting fit. Has entertainment for everyone and also has a hydra slide upto date facilities and great cafe with a good selection of food. Splash palace is also in a great location close to the city.

Kids had a ball here. They say its the best pool ever... price for kids was good which included the hydro slide. Lots of free parking too!

Great sauna and ice bath experience, nice staff.

Small pool for families but the sauna, spa and the cold plunge is what I like most. On my kids point of view, they said it's boring. The pool didn't offer an artificial waves unlike other pools they've visited.

Very good swimming pool. Has everything you want in a swimming pool. The only downside to it is, unlike other pools in NZ, not allowing freediving (under water apnoea) groups at all whether with couches/experienced people or not

Really good!!! Loved seeing the changes and having more access to the pool. Seems like splash palace has come a very long way.

First time here today and was pleasantly surprised.Entrance looks amazing.They have lockers and cubbies for your convenience.The thing I liked the most was the mural on the walls beachy vibe.

3 very large pools, a spa, a plunge pool and a hydroslide the pool area is awesome. The changing rooms have great showers and are always clean.

Stuff to do for the kids and one huge pool to do lane swimming in. The spa bath is very warm which was nice. Surprisingly they have a sauna which was also a very welcoming sight.

Good swimming pool facilities. REasonable pricing. Has lockers for storing possessions while swimming. Friendly staff. Has onsite cafe. Also has gym facilities. Offers reduced fess for the over 65's

For travelling backpackers there is an option to pay and use only shower just ask friendly staff;). Highly recommend this nice place!

Showers in females changing rooms have broken tiles, showers in family room feels like your getting sand blasted and hurts. And cost wise if you go often gets rather costly.

Such a big swimming pool. It is separated in three areas: a swallow one for babies and young kids, a 1m pool for both beginners and older kids, and a 2-3m pool with diving towers.

This a super fun place to go for a swim or just to relax. They have a wave pool, a learners pool, spa pool, swimming lanes, sauna and a hydro slide. Its cheap to enter and they do student discounts.

What an amazing place suitable for all age groups. My grand children spent almost all day having the best day of the holidays.
