Reviews of Tokanui Tavern
T.Generous blue cod, chips and salad washed down with a beer outside on the deck. Lovely evening followed by a walk on the reserve to see the seals.
R.Chill local pub. Large servings of your usual pub suspects for food - great to see good focus on checking vaccine passes 👍

I also used the shower, not the best pressure I’ve had but it’s clean, does the job and is only 4$.
Good place to stop on your trip, especially if you’re backpacking/campervanning !
c.Grest spot for Motor home association members. Parked overnight and made use of washer and dryer which was an excellent facility.
A toilet and hot shower also available. Had a couple of drinks at the Tavern. Friendly locals.
Water and Dump station and rubbish & recycling across the road. Very handy
G.Very helpful barmaid, great beer nice food big helpings.
K.Sweet as country pub that provides powered parking overnight for campers. Exceptional meals and friendly banter in the bar. Highly recommend.
