T.Excellent motel, enjoyed restaurant food and bar n stagger back to room which was worth 120bux, comfy spacious and clean, pool was fabulous for cooling down, you got to visit, service impecable

M.I stayed the night as I was playing in a band that night. The room was adequate and had everything I needed to have a comfortable nights rest, I loved the heatpump, it kept me cozy as the night was extra cold. The staff were lovely too.
K.I cannot say enough praise for this restaurant especially the 'Chef'...food was cooked to perfection..it would be one of the 'BEST' meals we have had in a very long time..
The Receptionist/Waitress was super friendly..

Y.This was the state of the soap dish in the shower of our room! Not good at all. Very dated place but the bed was comfy. Linen and towels were good quality. Dined at the restaurant and the meal was really good ,except they put chilli? salt on my chips which made them inedible for me. Nice friendly girl at reception.
S.Beautiful service and food. Excellent effort made with food presentation and quality. Only downside is the decor hasn't been changed since the 60s and the, what looks like, asbestos ceiling. Overall, a great place to eat maybe not so great to dine.
R.Clean and comfortable but in serious need of updating
S.I was not staying here, but was lucky enough to get a table for myself (as travelling for work) and am I glad I came here!! Most delicious lamb shank with bacon, creamy mushroom sauce and veggies. Super delicious and great size! Will definitely be recommending this place to colleagues and family when visiting!! Thank you!
L.Peter, our lovely host, went above and beyond to ensure our group was well looked after and all our needs met with a smile! Very flexible with room options. Rooms comfy and clean. Excellent food: fresh, delicious and generous servings. So happy we chose to come here!

S.After a long day we turned up and started looking for somewhere to stay. First place we found and what a find! The price was amazing and while the rooms were small they were outstanding value - warm, comfortable - everything you need for an overnighter. We ate in the restaurant and that was much better than we'd dared to hope for - I'd go back just for the buffet. Definitely kid friendly, lots of little ones running around but they weren't a problem and added to the welcoming, friendly atmosphere.
L.The frontline service here is friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but comfortable from the bed to the side chairs. Aircon, lovely pool, bbq area, comfy bed and pillows, food and bar. Very good price for such amenities and service.
R.Came to see family unexpectedly rang up Saturday for a room for Sunday got th last one. Check in was fine he was friendly . Got to room fine didnt expect air con which was heaven in summer first time me coming to kaitaia for the night great service, nice room access to pool ,wifi didnt eat here as KFC is across the road 😂 . Payed for what you get and I have no complaints

M.Definite need of an up grade, pretty much out dated, but besides this the staff are great and the swimming pool was nice.
G.Lovely staff and tidey rooms. We drove up from auckland for a funeral and arrived before our room was ready but the manager opened up a different room for us to freshen up after the long drive which was hugely appreciated as we had my elderly grandparents with us.
The only complaint would be that the people in the room above us were very loud and could hear every footstep which was disturbing after 10pm but it's not something that can really be prevented I guess.

N.Clean tidy rooms, a great buffet dinner with spit roast beef in the restaurant. Yum! Made the mistake of not leaving enough room for dessert, so missed out on the pavlova and cheese cake and other goodies, silly me. Someone else paid the bill, so that was a bonus, but the menu prices looked comparable to other Kaitaia restaurants. A good place for weary traveller to stop for a night.

p.If you have the misfortune to be in Kaitaia, the Orana will put a roof over your head. With decor straight out of the 1970s, you won't want to to hang around, but as a place to sleep it's fine. Free WiFi is available, but it is pretty much dialup speed. Convenient location close to town. Off-street parking.
