There is a very good reason for this bar to be so highly rated. Gorgeous place with great vibes. All front of house staff are courteous and professional, everyone looks very classy. You feel like you are in a loft in New York or London when you are in here. I had a gin fizz which was great, but the chicken burger for only $15 highly exceeded my expectations. You will struggle to find a $30 burger better than this one. The bar itself is also gorgeous, and the mirrors around the place really complete the look. If I lived in Napier I would definitely be a regular here. Go here!!

Hidden away down a short alleyway on Tennyson Street is a lovely little bar Monica Loves. A great spot to stop for a cocktail, beer, wine or whatever you prefer. The selection is great, the ambience is enticing and everything is served with a smile. Good food options to have with that drink at the end of the day. Highly recommended.

Nice little bar at back of the alleyway. Big wooden glass framed doors, open up wide during the day. Our own local music artist, Lucid Heist, even mans the bar. Well worth the stop and and the hospitality is fantastic from the staff. Plenty of room outdoors for 🚬

Very surprised. Place was packed out with 30's and up which we rather liked. Didnt try the food but looked interesting. Cocktails were fine as was the wine selection.

Was great! Music inside is a bit too loud but fantastic cocktails and friendly front of house more than make up for it. Back of house deserves credit too, y'all really put in work when it comes to your food. Thoroughly impressed.

Nice bar, pretty atmosphere, good cocktails, wide wine choice. Food is not really awesome, but this place is not about the food anyway. Just grab some drinks, have a seat near the bar and have a nice conversation with your friends. Wine by glass 12+ nzd , cocktails are around 20 nzd

An awesome little cocktail bar neatly tucked away off the main street. Great long plate style food and a good choice of drinks to choose from.

Stopped in for a quick beer and we were impressed by their selection of beer. We were initially put off by the very plain draft choices, but the bottled variety was very good. A cool little place down a small lane, which just made more interesting. Definitely go again.

We eyed this place quite by accident, as it is at the end of a tiny alleyway. It was the sound of people enjoying themselves that beckoned. The service was quick, and it was nice to sit outside and enjoy our local wine. Worth another visit.

It was a lovely atmosphere however the food was very over priced, jarred olives costing 9 bucks no olive oil lol and dry edamame. I don’t mind but when it’s all fancy and pricey I do mind.

Its a great spot in Napier to have a couple drinks, the beer menu is pretty decent, cocktail menu could be more complex, rather just beeing on sweeter side and classic. Calamari and polenta chips were made to perfection. It's not a speakeasy, therefore best so far place in Napier to have a drink.

My partner and I have travel from Queenstown stopping at many places on the way and this may be the best bar in New Zealand. Great beer , cocktails and food . The bar is hidden down an ally however it is definitely worth finding .
