J.Always have a blast here. Intimate dancefloor near the bar which goes off. Prompt and accurate service wve when its busy. 4th time here. Love it. Great live music in between cool dance numbers. Our party of 6 didnt want to leave.

T.Good beer and usually a nice environment. Is a little more pricy than the other bars close by, most notably for cocktails, but I went here nonetheless on more than one occasion. The bar staff are normally really friendly, even when it's busy and the security on the door are fair tempered and good at knowing when it's time for someone to leave. Nice seating area in the back, too, just make sure you sit next to the heater!
N.I come here almost every weekend and have never had a bad time. Bartenders are super nice and chill without forcing conversations on you if you drop hints that you don't want to talk (which is awesome for people w/ social anxiety). Cocktails are only a little bit more expensive than some others in town but they're the best ones you'll find in nelson. If you're wanting a quieter night go during the week or on sunday. Fridays and Saturdays can be rowdy, but that's the same with every bar in Nelson.

It wasn't busy (like Saturdays) but we enjoyed it appreciated being out that late on a Sunday.

M.Not friendly. Being used to the warmth of Cod and Lobster and their epic cocktails this was a letdown. Felt like an inconvenience not a valued customer so have never returned.
m.Couldn't recommend a better late night venue the hospitality is better than anywhere else, the people behind the bar are too talented for their own good and you couldn't experience late night Nelson better anywhere else!

D.Great decor and a great place for a quality drink.However, for such an intimate bar, the music level is to loud to hold a conversation.We moved seats 3 times to combat this.Has great potential and we would make a few visits here if the level was turned down.with all the seats,it makes for a great conversation/great drink bar..minus the loud music...also a bit over done in the Buddha statues.
