J.Great atmosphere. My cocktail was nice but my boyfriend was recommended a really good whiskey by the staff and he was very happy with it. Had a look at food menu but didn't eat, but keen to go back to try it!
O.The food here was equally pretty and tasty. The dishes are creative and we even had a bowl of nuts mixed with grasshoppers which was interesting. The place looks great and we are so relaxed when were meeting in there. The service is excellent because the staff are friendly and all have smiles. The prices are great and there is an extensive list of quality wines available.
G.Very narrow space inside but we got into a side corner so it was nice and intimate.
Food was great. Very tasty and adequate portions. None of the staff were wearing masks. I'm sure that's against level 2 rules. We felt quite nervous whenever they came near our table.
N.So many yummy food options to share and a wide selection of drinks - have gone home very happy and full!

A.Great cocktails, the biggest list of beers I've ever seen in a place (maybe too much choice haha). Nice atmosphere to sit in and the staff are very attentive :) Havent tried the food yet but the menu looks amazing!
S.Food is good but I think it is a little bit overpriced - 4 squares of Halumi shouldn't really cost more that $10. However the chips in gravy are awesome and the ambiance is fantastic. Great selection of beer and wine. So - all in all - worthy of 4 stars but not suitable if you are on a budget.
S.They made us feel welcome and looked after us until a table was available. Very attentive staff including the Gentlemen behind the bar who was very knowledge about their incredibly extensive craft beer list. The most extensive list we've seen. The food (tapas) were great-unique and full of flavour. Loved the atmosphere. We felt like valued customers. The best restaurant experience we've had on our North Island roadie. Thanks team.

W.We recently had two consecutive great experiences at the Hour Glass in Auckland. Through the help of Paula Tian we were able to locate and secure certain items those were highly desirable under a relatively short time period. Paula was excellent at her job, very friendly and informative, I would not hesitate to rate her as the top sales consultant at Hour Glass. Sylvia was another lady that I was impressed with, who was very friendly, her knowledge on watches is mind-blowing! We absolutely enjoyed my shopping time there, thank you both for your excellent service and professionalism. I would highly recommend these two ladies to everyone.
P.Fantastic place, great ambience and excellent tapas - the manager let us taste some great wines before we chose what we were to drink - enjoyed a Creme brûlée with a sweet Riesling to finish! Highly recommended we will be back again tonight!
N.Had a tap takeover with Three Sisters Brewery what a great experience the staff here are amazing and the food is delicious. Definitely recommend it!

C.This place has a lovely atmosphere. The wine and craft beer selection is excellent - so too are the tapas. AJ, Mark & Kiera are fantastic hosts. There is a wonderful space out the back that you can host a party. We have come here a few times and have never been disappointed. A++

G.We went to a 50th Birthday party there - it was in a little room out the back, casual & cozy. It was a good size for the event. The food provided was in the form of platters. It was great! Diverse, & lots of it. Both the carnivores & vego's were happy! Staff were attentive & efficient. I'd recommend it.

B.Amazing service and delicious food! The bartender and chef went above and beyond to alter a dish for me and make it vegan. Awesome atmosphere and reasonably too!
B.Had some great food options and drinks. Great happy hour deals. We did have a few issues with our waiter he gave us a wrong drink and starter but they corrected it later in the night.
