We had a good experience drinking at The Fish, other than a few minutes of listening to other patrons' shouting—that was allright though. The drinks were lovely and we will definitely come back again. ☺

***Edit*** please update your opening hours on Google, Facebook and on your front door!! It was disappointing to arrive and to see it closed on the Wednesday night, after planning the night around your opening hours! Such an awesome place for a night out. My partner and I were planning to move onto other bars nearby but ended up staying for around 3 hours on a Saturday night just working through their cocktail list. All the cocktails are spectacular for a really good price. If you're looking for sweet, fruity cocktails or even stronger ones (some have 4 to 6 shots of spirits per cocktail), this is the place to visit.

Always a good time here. Great cocktails avaliable and the Bar tenders know their stuff. If you're feeling brave, try a "Brave Dave" or 3

Used to be one of the best bars in town but in the last few years has become a bit run down. Very sticky tables, same decor from 10 years ago. Most of the better staff have also moved on. Probably still your best bet for a cocktail in Palmerston North but not to the very high standard it used to hold.

The variety of cocktails is pretty decent, nice atmosphere. Fried chicken is tender enough, would go great with a glass of beer.

Palmerston North isn't known for cocktails. This is the best place you'll get in this quiet city. Cocktails are a strong adequate, not amazing but the best you'll get.

Great atmosphere. Live music was awesome. Drinks between $9-15 . The place could do with new decor, the orange and brown took me back to my childhood.
