A.Great food and great beer.
Service was good when we got there and died of towards the end but we still had a great time
B.Had my husbands birthday celebration at Tuatara on Saturday. The venue was perfect, the staff was wonderful and the food was outstanding. Highly recommended, 10 Stars in my book! Thank you Tuatara for hosting a brilliant night.
B.Awesome craft brewery! The building is big and has lots of outdoor seating, including an area for live music. There were 12 beers on tap, plus you could buy bottles etc to take home. They also had great pizza--we tried the Classic (3 different meats, mushrooms, onions) and the chicken cranberry brie, which were both delicious. The menu included a lot of snacks and appetizers as well. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The hours have been extended recently (see photo). You should definitely check this place out!
J.Very disappointed that the brewery was not open today. Have a supporter of Hazy for a few years.

Not very good for people from around the country who would like to see where the brew comes from
J.Really nice spot. They have a lot of different beers to offer. But!!! I would expect at least from the people who work there to give me a proper recommendation or explanation of the beers.
Please, teach your employees more about your beers, than "a lot of people drink that" or "oh yes, that one is popular".

L.One of the best beers in New Zealand with no doubt. Luckily, the brewery and the tap room really match up. Really good service and good vibes :)
a.Today stopped in for a beer at Newtown festival at there Reggae bar,the beer was served in small plastic cups and were charged proper bar prices without no onsite toilet.
D.As an American who visits the Kapiti area often, I stop in at Tuatara about twice a week during each trip. The atmosphere is relaxing, the staff are super friendly, and the food is delightful! And then there's the BEER ... I have my faves (Aotearoa Pale Ale and Session IPA) but also enjoy trying a sampler now and again. I'm not sure when the immigration folks will let me back into NZ again ... but you can be sure I'll be back to Tuatara when they do!

B.Great beer selection however food choices tonight had been a bit pillaged by Valentine's Day demand. Friendly staff helped with this.

B.Top notch brewery with great craft beers. They had a great deal on pizza and a jug for $20 which we readily availed ourselves on.
The brewmaster clearly knew what he was doing - not just because of his hipster beard - but because his tasting guide was spot on.
Well worth a visit if you're remotely near it!
