Service Immaculate, good range of drinks both alcoholic and non alcoholic. Nice menu at reasonable price. Recommended for a nice meal or drink. But as Pub to make a Local severely lacking in Homely atmosphere. Probably because it's a chain house and has limitations on operating style.

Took mum here for lunch today, first time here, and I absolutely loved it. Staff were nice and friendly, atmosphere was nice and cosy, food delicious. Mum had the satay beef, I had the pork tenderloin 😋

Went there on Wednesday evening for dinner. Make the booking and we had a wonderful dinner there. Service: the waitress is friendly n nice, checking all our stuff are okie. Provided an excellent service. Food: fresh n yum, portion is big enough. The beef inside the pizza re in good quality. Especially the desserts, served with big size n taste so good. Setting is clear n tidy. Interior is bright n family welcome restaurant. They also provide lower table n chairs for kids. Have indoor n outdoor area for your selection Also, bar tables n chairs area for ppl to have drink with friends. Really good experience

Personal experience, I loved the setup of the place, good atmosphere, staff, music, but... lol, I ordered the special of the day which was seafood chowder, very disappointing, if your gonna have a seafood special maybe try using fresh seafood? Sauce bland also, best part was the cob loaf it came in. I'm sure the rest of the menu is great tho 😊

Absolutely enjoyed the events room. Had my son's 21st meal there tonight. I praise the top class service from the friendly staff and the food (chosen from the buffet menu) was exquisite. Everyone commented on how delicious and tender it was. It was topped off by having the complete upstairs for our private function. Well done The good Home, Pukekohe! We highly recommend you! Very cute place. My partner and I had the lamb, cooked perfectly!! The staff were very friendly and quick with service. What I assume was the owner was pulling his weight and working the floor almost with his eyes closed 😀 I am recommending this place to everyone I know and we will definitely be returning with our kids in the near future. Great experience here last nite, attentive staff, no waiting for our orders to be taken in both food & drinks. Our meals arrived within 20mins & oh boy they were delicious.My hubby had Rib Eye Steak Rare done to perfection he said & I had the steak sandwich. My meal was a lot larger than expected & certainly filled my tummy more than nicely & it ticked all the boxes too for a yummie meal. We loved the new makeover from the previous owner. The look is very Stylish & has a nice homely feel without being overdone. All round we really enjoyed our night with this restaurant & it's great staff & certainly will be back again to try other delights seen on their menu. I'm just sad I didnt take a pic of our meals this time.

Loved the room and atmosphere just would like more efficient service. Went twice within 3 weeks and both time food or drinks were forgotten or brought to the table late. And it was not busy at all! It's great you want a casual atmosphere but quick and on to it service is not much to expect when dinning g out.

This place is so tasteful and as all Good Homes reasonably priced. Oh and remember they do lunch not just dinner. The pasta is always the best.

Had lunch here on Sunday. Food was yummy! Highly recommend the calamari. Jam jar cocktails and cheesecake cocktail (not sure of the name but well worth a try) were also great.There was live music from a local musician. All in all a fabulous lunch with friends in a beautiful setting! We will be back.

This place had very nice food. My partner's nana had a complaint about her food, and they made it right almost immediately. I wouldn't recommend having a birthday here though, as there is a "cake charge" for bringing your own birthday cake. Other than that, the atmosphere is nice and warm and the food is gorgeous.

Great new addition to Pukekohe. Delicious food. Really liked the seafood risotto stuff squid - lots of veges and sauce. Perfect cocktails. We were non smokers at a non smoking table in the non smoking area and staff were letting smokers smoke there, so hopefully that is just a teething issue as not ideal esp with little kids. Looking forward to trying more of the menu.

Vicki made planning a last minute surprise party for 50 people a breeze! The whiskey bar doesn't need to be decorated, comes with its own party and had amazing food. I would definitely host an event there again!

The prawns and bread was tasty but very poor value as just 5 prawns and 2 tiny strips of bread. For 18 dollars we expect better than this. The Takanini Good Time is how its done properly with a good size serving and decent size garlic toast. Summary..enjoyable tasty meal served on time and with enjoyable waitress but with an over zealous cost saving excersize knowing there are better value offerings in Pukekohe

Absolutely amazing! Great service, atmostphere, drinks and food. Such good pricing for cocktails (and tasted soooooo good!) and just cannot rave about the food enough! My mum and I had 3x 'Lite Bites' (entrees) which were the Prawns, Pork Belly and the Beef Rissoles. The pork belly was honestly the best meal I have had in a long time! All flavours were perfect to what was expected. Definetly coming back 😄

This is the newest restaurant in town, we expected it to be busy, but just rocked up anyway. It was fully booked, but they did manage to find us a table outside. I tried the Cherry cocktail, and my wife had the strawberry & rhubarb chiller. There was more ice than cocktail itself, which was a shame as it was very good, although a bit pricey for what you got, @ $18. We shared the AntiPasto Platter which was nice, the crackers used were the ones you can buy from the local supermarket. It too was expensive for what you got @ $31. As we were leaving several groups people also rocked up keen to try, but were turned away. If you want to try this place, I really recommend making a booking first. We shall visit again.
