Our favourite place for a beer now made even better by the dog menu. Can confirm our golden retriever absolutely loved the very reasonably priced rare steak!

Always a locals favourite and been the same for years. Beer selection is always growing and still great nibbles. Staff are good too :-)

Atlas is easily our favourite place in Queenstown. The beer selection is amazing. The food is unreal, and as far as Queenstown goes. $20 for a great steak or short ribs is about as good as it gets. The staff are probably the best part. Keen for a chat, fun and friendly. Only thing it could do with is some more seating, but they can't really help that. We managed to find somewhere to sit every time with 3 of us with pretty minimal wait. Oh, and make sure you visit the bathroom there. That sounds strange, but just do it.

Couldn't give it any more stars, unfortanetly! I came here on a family trip last Summer and absolutely had to come back this Winter again because of having such a good time previously. I couldn't recommend it enough, from the incredibly friendlt staff who gave us tips on where to go for brunch and for a coffee, to the 20+ craft beers on tap to choose from, all the way to the insanely delicious food (go for the jalepeno poppers and the cauliflower wings, or a steak if you're more pekish!) Queenstown to me is this bar, and I'll be wearing the merch proudly and telling the drunken memories to all who ask about what Atlas bar is! Thanks for another brilliant trip!

Heard about this place from a hitchhiker we picked up. He got standard at the top of the remarkables in a blizzard when the bus got stuck in a ditch so we took him into town. Best decision we ever made. He gave a bunch of tips we used to add to our already amazing holiday despite actually being from England. "If you guys like steak, go to atlas, just left after the water taxi drops you in Queenstown, $20 steaks, and if its not one of the best you have ever had, it'll still be the best steak you ever ate for $20." We got the steak with sides, pork belly with sides, 2 pints and a calamari entree for $60. And god damn he was right, I've never eaten anything so good for that little money, and the serving sides were by no means small either. How they stay in business with prices like that I'll never know. besides the great quality food, the location is exceptional, the staff are exceedingly friendly and the aesthetic and atmosphere were perfect. Will definitely recommend to any steak lover.
