L.You've NEVER seen anything like Level 13. It's utterly fabulous. From the hand detailing on the walls, to artistry by the owners that makes the venue as much of a gallery as it is a function space, it's mind blowing.
I've been to (and hosted) Quiz Nights, Comedy Nights, Murder Mysteries and private functions at Level 13 and have loved it every time. The staff are great, the bar snacks and drinks are yum, and there's something fun to look at everywhere you turn.
I highly recommend Level 13 and wish more people could see it, it's wonderful!

We chose the 1920 themed room and it was perfect for our hens night. Our group of 10 ladies, of various ages all loved getting into character with sooo many costumes to dress up in. The bar was well stocked and the owner Deb was fantastic and went the extra mile to make our night perfect. Deb also let us look through the other rooms, they are all outstanding!!! Highly recommend for any hen or buck night.
I.Really enjoyed my time at Level 13! The experience started from picking up costumes(which I must say the ladies were so helpful), to the set, the story and the food! Would highly recommend and I hope I get to come back and try another room :)
A.Level 13 is a must-see if you are new to town! (It’s a walk-in art artwork. They should do guided tours, imo.) It’s also a fabulous spot for hosting events - music, poetry, parties, quizzes, d&d nights… Deb is great to work with and the venue is maybe Rotorua’s only underground pub - definitely worth catching this unique space amd supporting local creatives!
M.Great venue, with 5 different themed rooms that are decorated and set up really well. Brilliant entertainment from comedy to live music. They also have the ability for you to play your very own murder mystery game. So many options, costume hire, event hire. Get lost in a whole new world of adventure.
M.Great evening doing a murder mystery with our team. Amazing selection of costumes and nicely decorated themed rooms. Deb goes out of her way to accommodate her guesses. We will be back!

M.I cannot recommend Deb and the team at Level 13 enough! I recently held my 40th birthday party there. I had a Gatsby theme so hired The Ritz and Speakeasy rooms and it was amazing! I was planning the party from out of town and had a ton of questions which Deb was happy to answer and always quick with her reply.
The rooms are decorated amazingly and the atmosphere is just awesome. Great sound system and the bar is really convenient to the rooms with a wide selection on offer.
A friend also hired their costume from there and said they were exceptionally helpful and had an amazing range of pieces to give her a full outfit for the night which looked amazing!
If you're planning a party or even a team building event I would definitely recommend this place. I couldn't have imagined anything more perfect for my special celebration! Thanks Deb!!

A.Amazing, the rooms are brilliantly thought out & the detail is spectacular. I see something new every time I go there. The range of drinks is great, including local brands & the best salt & vinegar chips ever.
Their costume hire has an impressive amount of options & the staff are knowledgeable & helpful in selecting what to wear for any theme.

C.I had the pleasure of hosting an event at Level 13 a few months ago. Debbie was a breeze to deal with and made the whole process very easy and straight forward. Level 13 is an incredible venue, the attention to detail and creativity of each and every room has to be seen to be believed. There is something to suit all group sizes, you are able to hire one room or the whole venue. There is a bar from beverages and a range of catering options. Level 13 is a great addition to Rotorua!

S.What a fabulous place. We held our end of year function there and everyone had a ball. Costumes, atmosphere, staff, food - we couldn't fault anything. If you want a fun night out for your staff this is the place to go.
C.Wide variety of costumes & sizes with a very helpful person who knew exactly where things were & what sizes the outfits were. Managed to get 3 of us sorted in under 20 mins.
Easy booking system with extended collection time which is great as it stops the hurried rush right before the event. Very pleased that there is still somewhere in Rotorua to hire costumes. Would thoroughly recommend this place.

S.I highly recommend visiting the Level 13 Theme Rooms and Bar in Rotorua! My family and I were visiting for Six60 but when that got cancelled we decided to book the Mystery Murder Party at Level 13 and it was INCREDIBLE! Deb's communication was outstanding and she ensured we understood the task and character roles well before arriving. She organised an amazing spread of platters and had plenty of drink choices to pick from.
If you get the chance to dress up, totally go for it! There costume selection is amazing and it will really feel liked you've steeped into another dimension once you're in full character mode. The rooms are like nothing you've seen before, perfect for a birthday party.
Thanks again Deb, we had the best time and look forward to visiting again.
