Thank you Forgotten 43 Brewing for your hospitality during our stay in Stratford. If you are passing through or staying in Stratford make sure you visit this craft beer bar, they will not disappoint. Good brews, good food, good times. Cheers Russ.

Wow! That was a surprise, a little brewery in the heart of Stratford. Pop in for a paddle or two of 3 beers and a light anti-pasto platter (feeds 2-3 easily). Will have to pop in again when we come up to the 'Naki.

Awesome place, popped in for a quick beer, stayed until closing and then took a 4pk take out. Staff and service were excellent. Highly recommended.

Loved this place! Tasty beers and ciders. Great friendly staff, showed me the brewing process in house. If you're passing through it would be a sin not to stop in here for a beer. Thanks guys. I'll stop in here on my next trip!

My boyfriend and I wandered into this place off the street and we are so glad we did! No idea there was a brewery in Stratford! We started with a tasting paddle of the APA, the NZ Pale Ale, and the Irish milk stout and ended with full pours of the last two. Freaking delicious! What there may not yet be in innovation, there is heaps of in the offering of good, solid beer, made well. All the more impressive given that the brewery is not yet turned 2. I'm very excited to come back to New Zealand to see what they'll be brewing in the years to come, hopefully it will always include the NZ Pale Ale! (Also of note: the proprietors/brewers Mike, Anita, and Caleb are all fantastic, friendly people and we really enjoyed chatting with them!)

It's taken me ages to call in, but was welcomed with a really friendly staff member. I brought the light beers (bronze winners) and really enjoyed them.

Good selection of beers, on and off sales! Friendly staff. Can BYO takeaways for food which is nice, and they have a couple snacks on offer too. Would definitely recommend the chili stout and the hardyards!

The staff were so friendly and welcoming. She explained all the different beers and the owner gave us a tour of the brewery. The Rotokare hit the spot. We will be back and we will be telling others.
