Nice setting for a nice meal. Great food and service. The price was reasonable for the quality of the meals. My only niggle is that possibly the dessert serving was a bit too big.

Stayed for the first time here. Had a lovely stay. They upgraded our room which was a lovely suprise, clean tidy rooms with a gorgeous view of the lake. The staff members were absolutely amazing, polite and helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant and breakfast - food was absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend and we will be back to stay again. Thank you so much.

We had a really lovely lunch, sitting outside enjoying Taupo at its best. My steak was perfectly cooked, good service.

Lovely setting right by the lake. Had a meal in the restaurant there. Rather pricy but very nice and good menu choice.

We did a very last minute booking & were surprised to get a room, the staff were very helpful and polite. We had a beautiful room with lake views, we requested a pirtacot for our 3 week old which was beautifully made. We ordered room service and the food was lovely. Coffee from the restaurant in the morning was great too. Couldn't fault anything about this place. Would love to go back again.

What a beautiful view of the lake from the dining room and lounge. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the meals and wines. When my friend told them it was my bday they quickly came out with a lovely desert. With happy birthday written in chocolate and with a candle alight, then they really surprised me and sang Happy Birthday. Wow! That blew me away as they didn't know me from a bar of soap...🥂🎂

Stayed at Oasis Studio lakefront. Comfortable but tired room. Nowhere to wash dishes and they are not part of room service. Having to wash these items in bathroom basin is really unacceptable and it's a concern considering virus or even possible spreading stomach bug if not done properly. Get rid of fridge unit. Put in unit with little sink that can be used as a table too with fridge and cupboard for crockery underneath. Staff were fantastic. Food at wedding fantastic. Receptionist at Oasis a real asset. Thank you.

I am wondering if this might be a second posting today. Sometimes I find Maps obtuse. Anyway. We needed a very late booking. They were available to take a booking. We arrived very late. Left early. Great shower Comfortable bed. Night porter was helpful and friendly.

Took the family out for a nice lunch (2adults 3kids). Was rather disappointed that the lunch menu consisted of 3 starters and 3 mains, the mains were suited for adults and quite pricey. So we ended up ordering 2 of all the starters - ciabatta bread, fries and wedges. These were in decent quantity so made a meal for us all.

Excellent location on the lakefront. Staff very friendly and helpful go out of their way nothing a problem. Swimming pool clean and well looked after. A delightful place to stay and many happy memories.

Good value and very nice rooms, older fitout but still I'm good order for the most part. A few minor things let it down like the bathroom door in our unit was water damaged so wouldn't close but wouldn't put us off staying again.

Best hotel EVER.loved the staff. Loved my room loved loved loved the views! Only bone of contention was, this is not a place to go during sch holidays if u r not in that demographic. Parents need to relax, i get that, but kids running wild is not great if u r not one. They take over the pool areas and omg why do kids run EVERYWHERE. DO NOT BOOK A ROOM DOWNSTAIRS if its during sch holidays! Note to hotel, maybe keep an area sep from kids. For non family ppl. Also dont give upstairs rooms to families ( just a suggestion) but omg i truly live this hotel, checked in for one night, stayed 2 and wished i could stay for more! Food toi was better than so called better restaurants!

Lovely friendly staff, enjoyed the grotto and cozy lounge/bar area. Very clean and comfy room, great views... However a little disappointed with the confusion of dinner payment, they tried to charge to room after already paid for.

Very Best service at the Main Reception and there was a "one person at the desk that time and his name is Cole " He is very good person and gave us a very good deal and Room was very very Clean and comfortable stuff and out side view of Resort was very good. we will be back again in our Holidays in Taupo.🤙🤙🤙

What a great experience, being welcomed by friendly helpful staff, good food and stunning views! After a 7 hour day on the water, this was the ideal Hotel to overnight. Definitely recommend!

This is our now "go to " Hotel in Taupo. Right on the Lakefront with clean rooms and comfy beds. Restaurant and bar on site,with a the staff friendly and professional. And best of all.... Great value for money.

Central location. Excellent breakfast. Great variety. Prompt room service with generous portions. The staff are always polite and very welcoming. Most recently, Gina - at the main reception - was friendly, well presented, extremely helpful and went the extra mile to to make my stay comfortable and memorable. I look forward to returning!

The meals were great and such a pretty view. My partner and I both dine out regularly, but I think this is my new favourite. Service was also awesome (it’s hard to find good service these days). Highly recommend the restaurant.

Beautiful location. Our room overlooks lake. You can walk straight from room beside lake. Food good too. Staff friendly & helpful. You can swim in lake but there is also a pool. Would recommend.

I had my birthday dinner there with my family and it was awesome. Quite affordable with reasonable prices especially the childrens meals. Great spot with the grass area by lakeside where the kids could play beween courses. Went back for another try. $60 for two meals, better and cheaper than the local pubs! Went back for the 4th or fifth time but was pressure cookered through our meal. A half hour total time there. Let us relax a bit and we will spend more!

Looks like our room has not been used for a while but the gym and swimming pool facility is good. The hotel view is great - Taupo lake is right there.

This hotel offers excellent personal service, the rooms are spacious with king sized beds, and bathroom to match. Air conditioning and all the facilities you would expect are available. The lakeside views are terrific. 2 restaurants and a bar to choose from

While there were a number of good aspects of the hotel, we were very disappointed with some of the service and food we had here. The good points: very friendly and helpful reception staff, a spacious and comfortable room and big bed. However, we booked into the hotel restaurant and paid a lot of money to have a very disappointing meal. The starter was good but the salmon main course was cold in the middle, with raw eggplant, a "creamy" mash potato which was utterly uncreamy, and staff who didn't seem to know much about the dishes. The breakfast was very overpriced - $30 for a very unexciting budget hotel style buffet. The bar staff didn't have much knowledge of their drinks list. The bed was quite scratchy although nice and big. Overall, didn't justify the expense.

View from our room was spectacular right on the lake side. Was let down by the room decor, website showed modern and fresh look but when we arrived we had very old 70's designed. Was very loud throughout the night, not the best experience but the continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise!

Only as short walk to almost everything. Ladies at the front desk were wonderful. Of course the food was delicious. The landscape were beautiful throughout the day. I would highly recommend dining here. For those who are driving, the hotel offers complimentary parking. I met great ***y friendly people.

Beautiful decor, great sized room, lovely heated pool and grotto spa, awesome view and balcony (lake view room) and good service! We will definitely stay again.

Great staff here and excellent newly renovated bar and restaurant areas. Pool good and very hot ! Room ok, but bathroom outdated and walls / ceilings thin, so expect some ambient noise from other rooms, corridors. Its a tastefully renovated period motel only let down by the bathrooms and the ambient noise. The staff however are first class and make up for these short comings. Room service seem to like to start early when check out is late, so watch that !

If you're looking for lakeside and a bit of posh then this hotel is for you. We had an end second floor room which was so close to the lake you could hear it rocking you to sleep. Good sized suite with large office/lounge area including tea/coffee, tv, music centre, fridge etc. Nice balcony overlooking the lake. Aircon. Minor negatives are the road is quiet noisy but once in the bedroom its quiet, also motel open corridor style and no lift on the wing we stayed in. Two restaurants the up market Edgewater and the bar lounge. Sunday night was a buffet in the lounge which was average but not much cheaper than the excellent Edgewater. Top thing the awesome sunsets.

The location and view was absolutely 5 stars. Room was quite small and a bit run down. Bathroom was very outdated. The coffee/tea bar was absolutely in the way of everything and also the plug didn't worked for the kettle, so we end up using the kettle in the bathroom. The pool what you can see on the pictures is even smaller than it looks like. Buffett breakfast only offers very limited variety. Better to have a good breakfast somewhere in the town center. Somewhere in between 3 to 4 star in my opinion.

I travelled with my partner and stayed there for 2 days, the room is big and clean, the furniture is good, but the roof is in wood and you can hear the steps of your neighboors walking in the second floor. The location is next to the lake then you can have romantic meals with the lake view. The hotel is too small and there is no shops or restaurants close to it. The food was delicius.

awsome hotel right on the lake. has a lovely fireplace and relaxing chairs. beds unfortunately in our room were too springie and you either feel like you are falling off or you get partner disturbance. Otherwise lovely rooms and decor.

Beautiful location, nice bar & be restaurant with good rooms. Suggest getting the king lake front rooms for that little bit extra space as queen rooms just a bit tight unless you enjoy having to sit on the bed all the time

Love this place. Friendly but unobtrusive staff, great Grotto for private hot - very hot- bathing, no dinner, but a magnificent breakfast and all this right by the lakes edge.

A bit 'motel' like, and the rooms have a dated feel despite what looks like some modernisation (large LCD in the living area, new sofas and bedding, but old CRT TV in bedroom and dated bathroom). Rooms are directly on the lake, and I mean directly! The sunset views are epic. Parking right outside the room is handy too. There is a pool, spa, restaurant and bar too but we didn't use any of these.

Luxury deco throughout the hotel. Employees with smile from their heart. Drink selections were good in evening. There certainly cater to a wide variety of tastes. The choice of restaurants in the hotel is good. The room had views to die for. Will most certainly go back and highly recommend.

Best view from the guest room. Millenium Hotel Taupo. A very best accomodation in Taupo lakeside. You won't be regreted to choose this hotel to fulfill your memorable trip in Taupo. Good customer service, cozy waiting room, wide parking place.

The place looks cute and has a great lakeside view. I think all rooms have a view of the lake, but the rooms are pretty dark and not that clean. We found bugs in all three of out rooms.

A three night stay turned into a seven day mini vacation (actually we were on a monthlong one, but loved Taupo and the Millennium we just stayed on). Had the jr king suit on 2nd floor. Lovely time sitting on our balcony and looking over the lake. There is a public walkway along the lake but it was never bothersome.

The staff here are absolutely customer focused, they make your stay. The hotel has a great feel and the look lakeside position is lovely.

Clean rooms with a view . friendly staff . The room Service beef hamburger and chicken hamburgers are probably the best I've ever eaten . Warm swimming pool good sauna . Parking was ok with plenty spaces . All round a great stay .

Great hotel and comfortable amenities. We had a lovely stay. My only criticism was the lack of 24hr food. Toasties and hot fries at the midnight should be something to consider.

Fabulous location by the lake in Taupo. Staff is there to help you to enjoy as much as possible during your stay. There was lots of free parking. Located in a very safe area. The views from some of the rooms are superb. I will go back again & again.

l have had the pleasure of staying at Manuals six times and was a little disappointed that no records of previous stays was on record. given l am member of Millennium Club. The rooms are spacious and well furnished and we had a balcony over looking the Lake which is very beautiful. The amenities are good with a nice bar and restaurant areas plus a small cosy pool. There is also a laundry which is handy. Staff are pleasant and helpful.

I had a really nice stay . Loved camping under the trees feeding the birds. There facilities were awesome the staff were so kind even going out of their way to clear trees so you could access your tent.

prime spot on the lake front staff were friendly and helpfull good breakfast selection only downfall was they have a shrub there that smells like wet dog when its in bloom but luckily enough you cant smell it once in the room

Manuels were amazing in sorting out our family event. It was well priced and they handled everything perfectly without fuss. Absolutely recommend for a hassle free get together.

VERY FRIENDLY AND EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. THE FOOD IS GREAT BUT THE MEAL PRICE WAS A BIT EXPENSIVE FOR MENU. REALLY EXPECTED ASSORTMENT OF SANDWICHES OR BREADROLLS AND A BIGGER BUCKET OF CHIPS FOR THREE PEOPLE. MY ONLY CONCERN IS THAT IF YOU CATER FOR THREE PEOPLE. ASSORTMENT OF DISHES WOULD BE PREFERABLE INSTEAD OF A WHOLE RANGE OF SWEETS IE CAKES AND CHOCOLATES SLICES.SOME PEOPLE HAVE FOOD ALLERGIES LIKE DIABETES.

it's nice place though place is getting a little old around the edges, maybe take your own pillow :) worst I've ever had in a hotel, so no sleep, but I should have ask for replacements

We found a lot of hair on our blanket, pretty sure they did not change all the bed sheets. Called the reception, a staff came and changed our blank and sheets.

The view is very beautiful. It is rigjtly on the lake shore make tha panorama very beautiful

(Translated) It was very good, but there was a part of it ... There are so many birds and ducks come out on the terrace. I went in and ate the sweets but the birds did not go there. I keep on pretending to be there ... and there was a lot of shit outside. But pool and spa were really good, room was spacious, and was comfortable. Breakfast was simply good to eat and dinner could be filled in full. Breakfast preparation was too hasty to get up early. And the inside and outside were really beautiful and luxurious. The room had a big mirror and it was really nice. (Original) 아주 좋았지만 걸리는 부분이 있었기에 ... 새들이 너무 많고 오리들은 테라스에 나오기만해도 달려와요 . 들어가서 과자를 먹었는데 새들이 가지 않더라구요. 제가 주는 척만 해도 계속 있고 ... 밖에 똥도 많았습니다 . 그러나 수영장과 스파는 정말 좋았고 , 방도 넓고 , 쾌적했습니다 . 조식은 간단히 먹기 딱 좋았고 저녁식사는 배부르게 채울수 있었습니다 . 조식 준비를 너무 빨리해서 조급해 졌지만 . 그리고 내부와 외부는 정말 아름다웠고 고급졌습니다 . 방에는 큰 거울이 달려있어 정말 좋았습니다 .
