I.Absolutely the most amazing restaurant I have ever seen. My dear Wife and I will be visiting for many meals indeed. Absolutely astonishing decor. Welcome to yesterday. The long standing owners can be truly proud of what has been created here. I was gobsmacked and inspired to the max. Highly recommended indeed. This place is without a doubt yesteryear but worth every minute of a visit. The staff are so welcoming and treat you like royalty. If you want a VERY special lunch or dinner then this is truly the place to go to. Would be an absolute fabulous special function venue.
A.A brilliant place to go to for a lunch, dinner, coffee. Lovely folks, so easy to talk with. I reckon anyone who is going to or coming from Tauranga way needs to visit Forta Leza
N.Exterior gives wrong impression of place. Had a delicious meal. Interesting interior with big fire. Neat outside area for wine and lunch on a summers day

F.Yum yum yummo, with a group of at least 40 of us ordering not just off the main menu but the pizza menu as well, absolutely all of us enjoyed our meals. Staff were very attentive and pleasant. Also with the size of our group plus others that were dining we didn't have to wait long for the drinks to keep coming. The only reason 4 stars rather than 5 some of the decor especially in the ladies bathroom was tatty and dusty, the toilets themselves were clean. But I do feel the bathroom could do with modernizing. Will be back especially for the French grilled fish of the day and the delicious salad that came with it.

g.Its a great little country pub. The pizzas were amazing, had enough topping for 3 pizzas. Cool decor, was kind of expecting gnomes and pixies to be swinging off the chandeliers and midget throwing... none of that happened, but the service was friendly as!!

P.Fabulous, fabulous. Mothers day late lunch, no reservation but they managed to fit in 5 of us. The food was worth every $ and average pricing for todays prices. Would I return........that's a definite YES. Lovely atmosphere and the fires burning added to the rustic ambience.

S.I have stopped here many times for a drink, lunch, dinner or a dabble on the pokies. Always had pleasant bar service or waitress service... Sadly, today, we were unwelcomed, ungreeted and it was like pulling teeth to get personality and service from the sole barmaid. Lovely inside and in the outdoor beer garden. We'll worth a visit. Just hope that someone else is rostered on...

V.We have been going to the Forta Lexa for the last 30 years. The food has always been top quality and the rustic atmosphere is great . Fantastic for weddings parties and a casual meal. The fish is always fresh and the pizzas amazing.
P.Had a really nice Sunday evening here with charming service and some reasonably good food. It's a big place and felt bigger as we were one of only 3 tables at 7.30pm. The menu is oddly broad, from pizza to venison (which I chose and was very tasty) which to me creates confusion about what they are offering, which seems to be an Italian flagged European menu in an older English pub style. In my opinion it needs updating and more atmosphere to draw more business, but maybe Sunday evening is the wrong time to judge. My advise ... go and eat there and see what you think and don't forget to tip the lovely staff.
g.Nice place, friendly staff and a good atmosphere but food was a bit ordinary and not much appealled so tried a Pizza which i read were pretty awesome. Must have been a bad day as while it was a generous size it lacked flavour and just didnt deliver. Hadnt been here for a decade or so, might try it again in another decade?
C.Awesome pizza and food selection with unique surroundings. An old dairy factory converted to a restaurant with tables outside under the trees. Highly recommended!
L.Really liked it, stopped in for a beer with the boys after work. Very unique place, the décor is awesome. Had a look at the menu and the food sounded good but didn't have time to order. Will go to 5 stars when I've been back for food.
R.Absolutely loved this place. Walked in and thought there was a guest in an armchair in front of the telly watching sport (good cricket and boxing on last night!), however turned out to be the lovely barman. Our waitress was lovely, and professional. The location was FASCINATING, and the decor - rather interesting. The pizzas were loaded with toppings, and the side salad and fries were very fresh. If you're after a night out in a small town - it's Forta Leza, everytime.

t.Stopped in for lunch on a horrible rainy day and the Forta Leza Country Inn was very warm and inviting. Food was very good and the staff were friendly. Hopefully next time we call in it will be nice weather to enjoy a pizza outside.

T.Atmosphere is roomy, relaxed, & cosy with a fire whenever it's cold out. Meals are always generous! & well presented. Good hearty food, without being too extravagant & arty! Never come away hungry!
And a real treat is Philip the barman. Always makes you feel at home! Real people!!
L.Forta Leza is such a cute little tavern! Lovely cosy inside, nice staff, great pizzas and drinks. There's a couple of pool tables, and some really cool decorations all around the tavern. It closes pretty early, but they won't kick you out if you're playing pool after 9. Really recommend this place if you want a chill night in a homely, interesting pub.
D.Lovely outdoor courtyard. Plenty of character. A bit dingy inside but it is an old place with a bit of history - and a doll collection?? Had pizza which was ok but I prefer a thin base. Would stop for a beer in the sun.

J.This is a very different and delightful place to visit. Love the ambience and the food, especially the great pizzas! It also has a doll museum upstairs which is well worth a visit. It has become our local and so we visit quite often.
S.Average prices, amazing tasting meals efficient staff, lovely out door space for dining if to hot inside. The building is historic reading about it is quite interesting.
M.In days of old this restaurant was a milk factory now refurbished but maintaining its historical "feel" .. you need to visit for a drink at the bar and a top class meal with specialties of Pizzas which are to die for. Located not far from Katikati. NZ. There is also a huge doll collection available at request. I visit probably monthly as I live just down the road.

H.Great experience visiting here, when we stopped by on a trip home from Waihi. So much to see, nooks and crannies filled with much to think about.
