N.We enjoyed Oropi hot pools and Cafe. Nice time at the hot pools. Kids enjoyed a lot. Nice clean bath rooms including shower and place to change. Plenty of picnic places, water slide. Hot and yummy foods from the kitchen. You can sit under a tree and have a nice chat.
P. J.We had a lovely hot swim and our lunch from the restaurant was great. We went on a Wednesday so did the Swim/Lunch deal. Great value compared to other hot pools in the area. Only one pool which was perfectly adequate for us. Great shower and change rooms. The ladies in cafe were super friendly and helpful.
M. N.Always loved this place, only thing was when the lady told my 2 & 4 year olds they can’t eat their peanut butter sandwich as it was made at home. That’s pretty low, I mean who does that, actually stopped us from ordering our meals. Other than that, great pool and area!
J. P.Great food and nice garden around the pool. The only minus is it's only one pool (other 2 are private and it costs extra) and it had a lot of plant debris and some insects floating around but understand that it is an outdoor pool so it happens. Staff is super helpful and friendly.

A. P.We opted for the private spa as the pool was full. It was okay..had a toilet and shower which was nice. Water was a good temp to relax the muscles. Also, we had the open roof, perfect for those beautiful starry nights.

J.Went there this evening! Sundays are super quiet but it was awesome! Staff are lovely, wanted to test the sound system and even checked with us first.
Cracked a couple jokes, listened to some good music and just all round really respectful, considerate owners! Would definitely go again sometimes soon!

S. t. S.These natural hot pools are a great place to visit when the weather is not too hot. short drive from the city . Good parking. The water is warm enough to swim comfortably. Great for all family, has a ramp and stairs for entry. Not too deep. Nice little cafe where the staff make very good coffee. Lovely grounds for picnicking or hosting functions.
S. S.Visited with the grandchildren, we loved the outdoor pool nice outlook with the garden around the pool. Had a snack meal kumara chips very nice! Great customer service very friendly, fast and efficient with our food order. Definitely going back!

R.There is only 1 pool and some private spas but it still relaxing and the prices are decent.
The food is delicious and the outside provides lots of playground equipment and space to run around.

S. T.Great food at the cafe, we ordered from the menu. Pool was good but nothing outstanding. Temperature just right. We had a two for one voucher so that made a cheap swim, there is only one main pool and some private pools. Thankfully not too busy as it would be a less pleasant experience.

D. O.I was really impressed with this place. It is a beautiful little hideaway. Pool set in mature trees and bush. Massive grassed play area for kids with 3 outdoor BBQs to use, swings, sandpit etc. Standard pool is large enough to keep the kiwi personal space with about 30 people, any more and it might feel a little crowded. So pick your day. Else there are private pools available, but best you ring and book beforehand.
Great prices for the pool and for most meals at the cafe. They have a liquor license so a beer or wine with dinner after a relaxing soak in a hot pool is perfect.

We were a bit fussy I guess with our meals as well because of celiac and keto diets etc. The staff was very accommodating and was able to adjust their menu to our needs.

J. J.Went to the hot pools on a rainy morning first thing and had the pool to ourselves. Temperature was perfect, not too hot and it was nice and clean. Was nice to get a treat from the cabinet for the drive home.
E. K.I have been going to Oropi hotpools for about 10 years now and it never disappoints, it is consistently a good hotpool to visit. The cafe is pretty good as well and its nice that the offer a good meal in addition to the swim. Would be amazing if the prices were a little cheaper though, but I'm not complaining.
L. T.Lovely place. The front desk staff are so lovely and the food and coffee quality is great. You don't even need to go for a swim (although why wouldn't you!) As the cafe is great just by itself!
b.Visit these pools weekly in winter and have done for a couple of years. Great staff. Nice food for a great price and the pools are beautiful. Awesome place for couples and families. Fireplace in winter is a treat.

S. B.The complex is clean and tidy. Give the food a miss. Private spas are great, complete with showers and toilets. Watch for the burny hot water inflow at the bottom. 30 minutes is plenty in the private spa.

Fantastic range of services and pampering for both male and female clients. I see Anita - who is a wonderful, talented and caring beauty therapist, very experienced in what she does and understands what your skin needs.
I feel invigorated, balanced and my skin glows and looks gorgeous afterwards from the natural skin products used and treatments used.
My favourite treatments are :
