A.tried nearly everything on the menu and have not been disappointed!! so yum. awesome staff too 😉
L.I was very disappointed when I asked for gluten free fish with no chips and extra salad instead. I was served with a small meal that I paid 29 dollars for. I felt ripped off. I complained to waitress and nothing was done. However every one else I ate with their meals were large and well presented. The waitress gave excellent service and was polite and helpful 👍.
T.The food was great. Roast with all the trimmings. Best ever caulk and broccoli with heaps of cheeses sauce. Atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the staff were lovely people. And Luanne is just adorable. Warm and friendly. A real people person. Great night thank you

P.Made a late booking for 25 adults to help celebrate a 65th Birthday, booking accepted and upon arrival shown into a separate dining room beautifully set up and nice and warm, full bar service and great staff.
The food was excellent and well presented and I can recommend the Beef and Guinness pie.
Price's reasonable.
Great ambience and no pressure to leave.
My first visit here and will we back again, yep we will

M.We had dinner here tonight and it was delicious!! We had the beef and Guinness pie which was a 10/10, I’d go back just for that. The fish n chips were equally as delicious. The chicken burger was great - no complaints from our 11 year old who ordered it. Lamb shank wasn’t the best... but still all eaten. We also had sticky date pudding - delish 9/10. And same for the cheesecake. Loved the setting, good drinks, good prices, we’ll be back.

c.Mum and I have visited twice in the last week. Service was brilliant, warm and friendly, eager for our needs to be met re seating and menu able to be adjusted to suit. S.Good service, good food, good prices woman me over. It always seems tough to find a place in Upper Hutt to take the kids for a regular dinner out and I think we just found ours. Kids loved desert and my Schnitzel with the mushroom sauce was awesome....the sticky date pudding AWESOME! Loved it, we'll be back.

M.An impromptu decision with the kids lead us down the road to Luanne’s .... the service was welcoming and friendly throughout our evening; the food flavoursome, enjoyable with every mouthful. The kids menu was a refreshing treat, as even they finished every morsel (then again it could have had something to do with the much awaited, more than generous portion of ice cream that did the trick). All in all, our return dinning experience, was complimented by yet another delightful visit.

A.This is our ‘go to’ place in Upper Hutt for lunch i.e. I went three times this week! Love the food, it’s good value for money, and we’ve gotten to know the owners quite well. I’d definitely recommend the place.
H.The meal was ok but the restaurant was so cold. The gas fire was for ambience only & gave no heat. The only heating we could see was a bar heater in the entrance area. We asked to move tables but that didn't improve the warmth at all. I certainly wouldn't return in the winter.

M.I ordered a burger at lunch as part of a larger party. The burger and but tended towards over cooked. The quality of the ingredients looked good and I wouldn't hesitate to go back and give them another try.
