K.Went there for the first time today and absolutely loved the burger!! I had the vegan burger and it was flavorful and filling. The burger comes with fries which is amazing!
There was only one vegan burger and I wish there were more vegan/vegetarian options.

D.This is a pop institution in Wellington. But it was my first visit in this sports bar.
Had a meal special , hotdog and it was really good.
Otherwise a traditional pub sports bar with a great variety of on tap beers and more bottled. The menu offers good food.
K.Very pleasant dinner. Arrived, staff took us to table but had plates etc on it, she quickly cleaned it including wiping it clean. Then all staff very hospitable, helpful & obliging. We had the Sirloin Steak meal which was very nice & our 2nd meal was the Snapper. That was 10 out of 10. Delicious & really nice Tartar sauce. Left there smiling & very happy. Thank you.
S.A fun relaxed place to sit down and enjoy a pint or a glass. They have a covered outdoors area upstairs and downstairs. The drinks can be a little bit on the expensive end, but it's worth it. P.s their Halloumi Sticks are delicious
C.Great hosts to a recent birthday party. Well organised by a central functions team working closely with the venue staff arrived and everything was spot on music, dancefloor, food and attentive surface. Venues been tidied up recent years and is very nice now, upstairs space a legit option for a great function. Made our day thank you!
M.We have often used the Bristol for staff social occasions, as we did again this year for our Christmas dinner. This year we again enjoyed the use of the upstairs bar pool tables, substantial and good value meals along with the always reliable great staff service. Thanks to Melissa and all the staff for a great night out. We will be back!!

P.Went here for brunch and the food was really good, set in a beautiful old building with a brilliant atmosphere. Staff were wonderful and very accommodating. Through no fault of theirs, the goody app wasn’t working but they still honoured our discount so big thumbs up to the team and I will be back in the future.

They even offered to do a child size meal for my 5 year old despite child meals not being part of the menu. Steady flow of people through on a Sat afternoon. G.A really great place in the iconic Cuba Street to go for a meal. The menu is extensive with plenty of food choices and all at very reasonable prices. On top of that you are made to feel most welcome from the moment you arrive and there is a fantastic atmosphere here also which is a credit to the management. We were on tour from the UK and wish the Hotel Bristol was a bit nearer.
B.A beautiful place to dine. My friend and I enjoyed a wine and taptail during their happy hour. The steak meal and burger meal was devine, compliments to the chef and reasonably priced mains at $20! Dixie the bar man was so professional with a witty personality, very rare in hospitality. Please thank him for us, see you again when we are down this way. Highest of recommendations to Hotel Bristol 💯👍

S.So much fun... went with my sis and our sons for lunch today. They went out of their way to make us have a wonderful experience and we absolutely loved the food. I even broke a rule (accidentally) and one of the beautiful hosts was so gracious about it.
Awesome music selection (Spotify queues)... pool tables were lots of fun, games around the place we had a whirl. Great mooching place, oh yeah and great view of Cuba mall and the tatt shop, thanks for ya loveliness xxx

P.Food was lovely as always, waiting staff were fantastic as always... unfortunately we were all shocked at the price increases to the menu. Previously they offered $13.00 lunches which was always a major draw card for us. Our lunches cost average $22.00 per person, which was a very big shock to the system. Sadly a bunch of us probably won't go back... that is quite an expensive lunch for our average age group of pensioners (I am not a pensioner). My meal was $25.00 Cheers

S.Our waitress was not interested and did not seem like she wanted to be there. She took an order for something that wasn't on the menu (our mistake), didn't correct us, and I have no idea what she wrote down but we ended up with something that had to be sent back due to dietary intolerances. I got the crispy pork belly which while it was delicious, was not crispy in the slightest which was disappointing as that was the reason I chose that over something a little cheaper. Nothing was terrible but unsure if I'd go back.

D.Excellent service and prices! We played a couple rounds of Pool and had a few drinks. The pool tables had missing balls and pool cues were broken but it was no problem at all for the staff to find them or replace the cues. We got a 2 for 1 burger deal on a Wednesday. Partner and I each got a Kiwiana burger. They were good burgers. (Not wow) but good. For the price they were good. Think the patties could do with a little more seasoning.
D.The Sunday roast was average. Fairly tough pork and the food on the plate looked like it had been run over. Don't rush in.

J.Stopped here for a beer before going to a nearby restaurant. Well, Wednesday 2 4 1 burgers and $5 local beers and the rugby on 2 huge screens. Needless to say we didn't make the restaurant, kitchen put together an awesome vegie burger for my wife. Awesome table service. Highly recommended.

S.My mother and I had a lovely lunch there on 21/2/2020. The staff were friendly right from the moment we entered, the lunch we had was absolutely delicious and to top it off it was very affordable at $12 for the steak meal.
S.Friendly atmosphere and very homely, especially when the open fire is keeping you warm. Bar staff also very friendly and welcoming. Good selection of beers and love the $10 a jug special on Sunday.
N.Went there on 2 for 1 mains Monday. However, there was a special menu for this deal and though tasty the main was too small. Service quick and friendly. Was busy which was good as easy to have no atmosphere on a Monday night.
J.Had my 21st at Hotel Bristol. The staff were incredibly accommodating and so helpful in preparation for the party. Great value for money, no issues with music or using a microphone. On the night, the bartender working in the function room, Seamus, was great - would definitely recommend Bristol for events. 5/5!

Pool tables, greta events and a good location in the middle of Cuba St - away from the mess of Courtney Place.
Bar staff could definitely do with more customer service training as we complained about our drinking being increasingly strong and instead of just remaking it they started a unnecessary argument with us of who was right and who was wrong.
A.Very affordable! Come on Wednesday’s 2 for 1. Also been here on a Friday night and still very decent prices. Love coming here. Mains, desserts and drinks are all equally as good. A great place to catch up with people. Would recommend.

I came here again, the food is not bad. Just make sure that if the menu says blue cheese, it is actually cheese and not supermarket sauce that's called blue cheese. The standard cheese burger is good.
I.It's a nice place with good food and we've visited this place several times before. Today it was not a pleasant experience though: in the entertainment book there is a voucher for the second main as long as you buy one. The staff tried to convince me lunch is a special offer already (which makes no sense), and then that "main" only means the food served dinner time (which again if it was the case - would have been stated explicitly, but it wasn't). If a place participates any discount vouchers programmes - the stuff should be trained correspondingly, and/or the voucher terms should be better worded, so that you knew for sure and did not debate with them.

J.A decent old fashioned pub right on Cuba. Friendly staff and good service. Food was fine. On a recent visit we ordered food - Standard pub fare - breakfast was OK, steak dinner was overcooked. Usually stop in for a pint or two when in Wellington.
M.I've passed by HB many times when I finally stopped here recently to check lunch out. The meal exceeded my expectations. The sirloin steak was cooked perfectly, so were the chips, and these were accompanied by a small rocket salad (a pleasant surprise which I enjoyed) and the portions were just right. All this at a reasonable price. The drinks were not too shabby either and the rest of the menu looked promising as well.
If you're thinking of having a fast-service lunch in a sunny, convenient location do stop by because HB ticks all the boxes and offers good value, right here in the Mall where all the bustling, dining action is. HB is also a popular, social meet-upper in the weekends and attract many age groups.

The staff memeber I told when I found what looked to be a big thick black beard hair in my Eggs Montreal was unapologetic but got the whole meal replaced even when I said just to replace the bottom peice of toast it was found on and eventually offered us a drink on the house, so that was nice, but a sorry does go a long way when something like that happens. I apologized more that he did!! 😂

J.Relaxed environment, cheap and cheerful. Steak is cooked to within an inch of its life, pretty thin and full of gristle, but they were great in accommodating my dietry requirements.
