Booking the venue with Barnaby was super easy and low stress. Skyler and the team were welcoming, attentive, and pitched the service just right. Delicious in-house catering from Judi and great drinks on offer. And a great space - lovely light at both ends of the venue, and a solid sound system for our playlist of choice.
All of which really helped make the event special. Thanks again guys. I’ll be back soon!
P.Cozy, stylish and convenient. The friendly Poquito team looked after us with unobtrusive professional service. They were very knowledgeable about cocktails, sharing their experience and asking about our own preferences then suggesting something new that really hit the spot. Recommended.

Would recommend a whiskey flight. Haven't tried their food or other drinks though. And we couldn't stay too long due to a private event later at that location.

P.Nice breakfast/lunch choices, the baked egg with chorizo was awesome, same for the grilled halloumi. Go sit in the back near the stage/window, such a lovely warm vibe created by the wallpaper, admire the bar wall. Big choice of Whiskey and Bourbons, I counted 97 different ones including some nice Japanese whiskeys. If you like Gin try the Monkey47. Also interesting original cocktails
R.Was looking for a filling, yummy, relatively healthy, reasonably priced, vegan breakfast. This gorgeous little cafe, with incredibly kind staff, were willing to accommodate me. Avo and toast with tomato, lemon, balsamic vinegar and the INCREDIBLY GOOD house-made hummus. My soy latte was large and delicious. Highly recommend this cafe.
C.Stopped in for a round of cocktails late at night. Amazing service! Hand made cocktails for all of us and some great entertainment watching them being created. Definitely worth it if cocktails are your thing!

K.It's a small, comfortable, quiet space that feels really welcoming. It's a good spot to visit week day or weekend (though it does randomly get over busy on weekends sometimes). With my social anxiety this space didn't cause any issues for me. The hosts are really welcoming, and they will give you space if you want it. The bar tender was great at mixing drinks, and make me both artisanal mocktails and cocktails. LGBT+ friendly and both bathrooms are gender neutral.

L.Lovely little cozy place. Makes an excellent coffee and they have a phenomenal range of spirits. The staff there were spectacular as well. This is a perfect place for a chat and a drink. Low key but good music and a great vibe across the board. Its one of those special places that transitions seemlessly from a coffee shop vibe to a night time drinks with friends spot. Will absolutely be returning.

h.They serve all the classic cocktails and a whole menu of specialties. The staff were amazing and super helpful when needed. I especially loved the mood lighting the place has not harsh on the eyes at all and it creates a very relaxing atmosphere. Bonus was the cocktails aren't overpriced and tasted delicious.

M.Great, cozy place with marvellous music, tapas, delicious coffee and really friendly service (owners I think). We'd come back every day if we lived here :) apparently at night it turns into whisky bar! (Unfortunately it's only 1pm now...)
F.Nice lighting and mood. They had some smooth rnb/rap playing among other genres. Its a small place. You definitely cannot dance in there. Came in for a hot chocolate instead of alcoholic beverages and they provided service the moment we walked through the door. They kept our water topped up and their service was friendly and fast. I highly recommend this place if you just want grab a drink and have a chill and short conversation (or a long one if the mood makes you want to stay).

I sat there thinking about another pour amongst the avo and feta Smash and grilled haloumi and there he was at the ready and really knowledgable about the wine, the region and his knowledge of other hospitaliers in Wellington. If you are wanting to go with the flow with a cafe/bar who also goes with the flow I definitely recommend Poquito. Looking forward to trying #poquito #negroni #wellington later this evening. A.Always welcoming and a feeling of being the mist special customer of the day. Best coffee in this part of town. Great after work calming atmosphere for a glass or shared bottle of wine and same welcome. Just in love with this place!

Bryan, from Leeds, is a friendly chap who is a natural bartender. He has an instinct for flavour which has never failed to impress me with its acuity. I reckon four people with totally different tastes could all ask for a drink based on their preference and be equally pleased.
