R.Pretty nice. Lots of different seating available including outdoor smoking zone. Acceptable selection of beers, and topped off by friendly staff who were all strictly adhering to covid requirements. We appreciate this very much!
E.Pickle jar staff are so incredible. They catered to a very unique situation we had and were so accommodating and understanding! Food was incredible but I will always be extremely grateful for their kindness and contribution to a very hard day. If you want to support anywhere in Wellington, I would highly recommend going here! Can’t thank them enough!!
D.Third visit to The Pickle Jar. We come back for the fantastic food. The burgers are outstanding. Great fries and very decent portions. Tried the spicy chicken wings today. They were very good. Great atmosphere too and even better on a fine day in the beer garden.
T.Surprisingly good food. Great value too. Was a 4 star review now a 5 star. This place just keeps getting better. Big thank you to all bar staff and kitchen staff, you guys absolutely make this place what it is. Every Monday for pizzas over the last 100 weeks can't be wrong.

Every time I come here I get the same thing - the Pickled Cheeseburger - really need to broaden my horizons but it's just soooo good! Best burger I've ever had, anywhere. (Big talk!)
Decent cocktails are a bonus.
The Pickle Jar - Karori's not so hidden gem! It's popular for a reason.
Love this place.
C.Ordered the buffalo hot wings and chips & dip. Cooked perfectly. Wings were crispy and coated with a perfect amount of sauce. A nice heat from the spiciness too. Chips were crunchy, golden brown and light and fluffy, and the dipping sauce was a great flavour.
Will definitely be back again.
L.Atmosphere and service are great! But burgers were pretty average, no much sauce or flavour. Would try the pizzas next time though

B.Started to go back there after a bit of an absence.. The place is great ,the staff are on the ball and super friendly, food is top notch ,and good seating options .
P.The kids fish and chips is good, and they now have Tuatara Hazy, so I might need to visit more often. $70 to feed three kids and get two pints ... is probably better value than the other pub.
