Very good pizza and good craft beer variety. It has a second floor kind of hidden, really nice, with pool table. At certain hours you can enjoy your drink in the plaza that's just in front. Good live music. The smoker area is quite small and can get very crowded. No parking, but after 6 pm, all metered parkings are free

Sun with a great range of beers and good food is a great combination. Sheltered from the Northerly this spot gives you a nice outdoor area to plant your butt to the grass and grab a low table and chill. The tables are just the right size for a pizza and 4 drinks to graze on while soaking in vitamin d.

An excellent pub for music and craft ales, especially on hot summer evenings when the park out front serves as an extension to the already spacious bar. Pizzas are excellent as are the beers. Music is served well by the owner’s attention to detail in setting up the stage acoustics, PA and sound board. There is lots of jazz here, plus talented bands that represent a range of genres.

On Wednesdays between 5-7pm they have epic offers on their chicken wings with any of their 3 flavours (tangy bourbon bbq, smoky chipotle and dragons fury sauce) only 77c! Or get 12 wings and a pint for just $19. A fun, quirky bar with plenty of outdoor space!

Spicy dinner tonight! Taco Tuesday and Zombie pizza that was not for the Faint hearted. Very relaxed, enjoyable vibe. Good service and resident doggo who was lovable. Outside beanbag spots if you wanna do that. Place was fun, lots of purposful tagging in the loos. Will definitely be back again... especially for the beers. yaaa!!! I hear there is usually a live band later in the week. We had a table on stage tonight.

Rogue & Vagabond had an energetic ambiance. There was a live performance going on when I was there. There were many weirdly unique beer flavors. It was a bit pricey compared to other breweries in the city. I just wish that the staff behaved a little better.

Giant pizzas and nice atmosphere. I stumbled across this place randomly, it has a lot of character and cool decorations. They sometimes have live music and funny wifi names. Also the food and drinks are big enough to get lost in and are very tasty!

Trying to reacquaint myself with Wellington comes with pleasant surprises. The Rogue and Vagabond is a craft beer establishment with al fresco drinking outside in a remodeled part of Cuba street. Service was nice and the Lara, one of the managers is an excellent poorer of beer. Cooked snacks were ordered and delivered in good time and quality.

What a fabulous little place. Away from the madness of Courtney Place, this cool and quirky little bar has the best live music around on Friday and Saturday evenings (cover charged on Saturdays) and is more popular with the locals. With a great selection of craft beer, wines and cocktails and great food and popular special offers, this is my favourite night time venue in Wellington by far!

Me and my boyfriend stopped in here for our first pint in Wellington. We’re welcomed by the lovely staff members on arrival. This was our first time in Wellington and the guy behind the bar said that he’d be happy to suggest and recommend spots for us. The beer was fab and the bar itself was very quirky and arty.

Went for a drink in a Saturday afternoon and this place had a large selection of beers from all over NZ on draft and even more in bottle or can. Greatest feature is the bean bags and cushions on the lawns outside. Very chilled atmosphere and can image a sunny Thursday or Friday after work would be awesome.

A decent bar to get some good beers at. Nice to see some young local bands performing last night on Easter Monday - the first one was amazing with some great young singers and guitarists and even songs in Te Reo Maori. The second one was very hard to listen to and had a lot of screaming and cymbal action which made it hard to talk to each other so we left while they were on. We tried a few beers - the double hazy IPA (forgot the name, 'something' Valley) was delicious. Unfortunately the Pacific Pale Ale was awful and we didn't finish that round. The bartender was a bit irritable and seemed like he was having a bad day but he could have been hating the music. Would still return and try some other beers.

We visited Rogue & Vagabond to have some beignets as we had tried them in New Orleans. What a disappointment. Very small, not soft and fluffy, and we ordered 10 but only got 9. The vibe of the place seemed ok. Would be a great place to listen to bands, especially in the summer when you can spill out on the the grassy area outside.

I appreciate this is also a music venue, but when I'd visited for a lunch, the music was a tad too loud and made it a tad difficult to hear the conversation I was part of. - I will point out this wasn't live music, that would've been understandable. but otherwise really good place to go, and dog friendly too!

Overall this is a nice bar. Live music, a great aesthetic, and fast, efficient service. Being next to a small and well lit park makes finding somewhere outside where you can still hear the band easy and pleasant. The downside is that the bar is small and easily packed, and the noise of the bands can become easily overwhelming in that small space.

My go-to pub in the city, I don't go anywhere else for a beer unless whomever I'm with has another preference. The staff are always really nice and helpful, good banter, happy to suggest beers and assist you in tasting some. Food is pricey but the bits n bobs that I have tried are nice. Unfortunately they don't do half and half pizzas which means I always go somewhere else for dinner instead.

Rouge is one of the best places to sit and vibe on a Friday evening, or any day really. It's got delicious food ($2 taco Tuesday!), a decent selection of Wellington craft beer, SUPER friendly staff and an awesome atmosphere. In summer they have beanbags and cushions on the lawn for beer in the sun, their curly fries and pizza are always a banger. The weird layout of bathrooms seems to go unnoticed amidst the funky decor. We had a great time yesterday at the Rogue and Vagabond. They have a large selection of drinks available, including a surprisingly large wine selection. We also got some snacks and they were all very delicious (fried pickles were great). They also have a nice option for taking drinks and food out into the little park to sit on beanbag chairs.

Man I love the staff in here. And the selection. And the grass in summer time. And the look and the entertainment. It's just such a nice spot and staff are knowledgeable and friendly. It's just off the main drag and there's a huge grassy area in front so you can stretch out and enjoy. There's jazz on, lectures, pub quiz, all sorts; a real highlight of Wellington. I haven't tried the food yet, but this summer I'm gonna get me some serious nomz. Line up some vegan stuff guys!

Never had a bad time at the rogue and vagabond. Always good music, nice range of beers and food (pizzas are great) and the staff is always nice. It can get crowded Friday or Saturday nights making it harder to move around the bar. So make sure you get there early if you want have a seat.

As an American that has found most attempts at Mexican or Latin American food in New Zealand to be underwhelming, the Taco Tuesday bar is authentic flavors at bloody cheap as prices.
