B. P.We had a really enjoyable dinner here. The portions are excellent value and the food delicious. Good pub food done very well. The garlic sauce on the steak was punchy without being overpowering. The desserts finished things off nicely. Service was quick and friendly.

R. J.The barman didn't want to listen what I wanted initially but poured me a beer he though I wanted. Things did improve but one has to listen to what the customer wants.
D. H.No one gets 5 stars but whitebait fritters were good for a quiet Sunday meal. Ladies brandy/ginger drinks were underwhelming and would question the brandy contribution. But beer was good.

G. S.It's clean and tidy, quiet and central, easy free parking and friendly, good large 'pub meals' and that's about it ... enjoy your stay. View from our window, on the side street. The other rooms over the bar are probably noisy, but will have good wifi. The room we had, in the new part, along the side street, had no usable signal strength.

H.Great family run hotel,very welcoming to returning guests as well as first time guests, comfortable beds, great shower facilities, spacious rooms, with lots of natural light, and not far from all the tourist trappings, or the local shops, including supermarkets. Also great lunch, dinner, and breakfast menus.
