Aaron and Holly are very enthusiastic and very effective. They listen and communicate really well. They are very proactive and are super-keen to provide excellent service. For instance, I needed a plumbing issue sorted in the week before settlement. Holly immediately offered and then organized the whole thing. As I live out of Auckland that made a huge difference. I got realistic advice about the sale price and sale method. This is invaluable, as there are plenty of salespeople with other companies that give over-inflated assessments to get your business, and always say that auction is the way to go. Aaron and Holly are friendly and people-orientated. They love what they do, and it shows. This is the second property they have sold on behalf of me and my wife. I'm renting a unit through B&T City and my property manager Bryan has been great. Whenever there's a maintenance issue he acts upon it promptly, looking after the tenant's needs. I hope there are many more property managers like him out there.

I have been a tenant with Barfoot and Thompson for the last 4 years and there has been excellent service from first enquiry to completion. Elishea came on as my property manager half way through my tenancy and what a noticeable difference in excellent service delivery. Elishea was friendly, prompt and efficient dealing with any problems or repairs ,she kept in regular contact with me, which meant I did not have to chase her at all. It also stood out a lot that Elishea ensured everything was fair on both the tenants and property owner and actively worked out solutions to benefit both parties if there was ever a problem. My whole experience with Barfoot and Thompson City branch has been good and Elishea especially lovely. I would highly recommend.

We live in England and own a residential property in Epsom, Auckland which comprises six purpose-built two bedroom units. This property has been managed for us by Barfoot & Thompson for several decades, going back to the days when the normal method of communication was international airmail. As non-resident owners who are only able to get to Auckland every few years, we rely on our property managers not only to manage day to day matters, but also to monitor and maintain the building over the long term. Throughout this time Barfoot & Thompson have been exemplary managers and excellent communicators, which in our situation is essential. When urgent maintenance has been necessary they have attended to it immediately, which even in these days of instant communication gives us complete peace of mind. A good mix of people cater to many different languages and they look after rentals as well as sales. They are also Barfoot & Thompson's number 1 performing branch.
