I have been with First Avenue for over ten years. They manage multiple properties for me. They are the most professional and efficient property managers I have engaged out of four different managers. I willingly recommend them to any property investor. Currently my manager is Lisa Oquist who I find outstanding in every facet of property management. I also can contact Melissa Benge the CEO at any time and she is always available and extremely helpful.

The accommodation is suitable to my requirements. Detailed reports about accommodation conditions were offered before living in. Issues are always addressed and responded quickly. Service is considerate.

Would like recommend Lisa Chen as a great property manager. I haven’t been living in Christchurch near 2 years. However Lisa Chen can contact with me immediately when property have any problem by tenants. Professional awalys and prompt service.

lisa chen have been manage our rental property nearly 3 years . We are ablsolutly satisfied with her service. She always give us the practical and fair solutions when any unexpecting things happen.that is most important to keep a long relationship between tenant and landlord. We have used First Avenue Property for several years as Property Managers. The service has been excellent. Very easy to communicate with & any issues dealt with promptly. They have just sold a property for us with no stress on our part. We would use & recommend them in the future.

Christine in the office, probably reception, is incredibly short and poor at managing the questions of tenants. She gives bad information and is way too short, literally wont let you get a word in on the phone and treats you like an idiot for valid concerns. I asked for a refund after move out for excess rent I had paid and she said "it's probably because we dont have your bank details". Ive gotten my bond from tennancy services, I wrote it out in my move out agreement, you have my bank account literally in two places on my move out packet. Look for the information rather than blaming tenants Christine. Try to talk to anyone other than Christine when you call and your experience with First Ave will be alright. Krystal, melissa, and bronwyn are lovely and tried their best to understand. They made me feel heard and respectfully listened to concerns I had. Krystal specifically is a superstar when dealing with difficult situations!

First Avenue managed my property and when the appropriate time came it made sense for me to sell the property. When I learned that Melissa and First Avenue could sell the property for me it was a lot simpler for me to keep the property management and selling activities together with the same service provider.
