T.Nigel Maisey was brilliant from start to finish. He spent time to take us through the process, then once on the market his communication was excellent. Then when it came down to it, he was able to negotiate even more than we were happy to accept. Great value for money. We will definitely be back in the future!
v.We chose to sell with Total Realty, especially with Mike and Alison, because we understood each other very well. We tried to put our property on the market a couple of years back, but due to Covid, we had to defer the sale process. A couple of years later, we reengaged with Mike and Alison and signed the documents to get the sale process going. Alison and Mike kept us honest and shared the key things to do when advertising, what to prepare for the open homes, and how many open homes to have. We understood how to get the best from the current changing market without losing the focus from the target to sell the property. :)
Within a week, we sold the house and started a new chapter of our lives. Thanks, Mike and Alison.
N.I would highly recommend Total Realty. Not only were their fees competitively priced (they were a fraction of some of the other agencies), they were also open, honest, transparent and worked hard to get multiple offers to present us. Wayne was also a pleasure to deal with - it was my second time dealing with Wayne and he was the main reason we chose to market our property with Total Realty again as he's very knowledgeable and experienced.
Total Realty also handle a lot of the 'admin' involved in putting our house on the market, which was another drawcard as my husband and I didn't have the time to do it ourselves. We were very happy with our result.
C.Our previous sale was not easy for the agent in question but he kept at it and got us a fair price. We admired the way that the whole process was transparent and despite the difficulties, the cost remained the same.
Likewise, with the house just sold, the transparency was there from the start and although this house sold easily, it was marketed enthusiastically and efficiently.
N.Rachel was exceptional throughout the whole marketing and sales process. She is first class and I can completely understand why she is Total Realty's top agent. A fantastic experience. She went above and beyond what I expected and delivered a great result with the sale. From the beginning she clearly explained the various approaches we could take to sell the property and maximise return. Throughout all the open homes, staging, sales negotiation and finalising the sales contract she was always responsive, answered all my questions (even the silly ones) was highly professional, friendly, and nothing was ever too much. Living overseas in Malaysia and not being able to meet face to face it made the whole process immeasurably easier. Went beyond expectations; relocated my existing tenants, brilliantly managed them during open days, sorted staging of the unit at short notice, even gave me an old dryer to help fulfil the sale and got to know my mum! Who does that!:) Exceptional. I think you have a great team and I was very impressed. I highly recommend you guys and will be back in touch in the near future with more business. L.The number one difference is clearly the large amount of money saved on commission and marketing cost. Other real estate agents told us that we would lose more on the sale price than we would save on the commission, but we are absolutely convinced that it wasn't the case as we got several high offers in which clearly the buyers had offered their maximum price, with the top ones exceeding our highest hopes.
The sale was extremely quick (10 days after listing, only two open homes) which was another bonus.
We were extremely pleased with the professionalism and attention to details Marc and Wendy demonstrated in every step of the process. As we were interested in another property they were promoting, we saw how they manage their open homes and had never seen such quality of service before.
In summary, we highly recommend Total Realty and particularly Marc and Wendy.

Our property Agent is Julz she was very nice, communication is a breeze, she met us so early even though we are not sure when the property will be on the market as our house is tenanted. After we met her we knew we did the right decision in choosing Total Realty. The communication is superb she is always there to answer our questions via email or text. Gave us all the necessary things that we need to do before we put the house on the market. Before we even got the date we are all ready to go to market the property and she did her very best to put it on the market as soon as possible which took her 24 hours after the photography was done which was amazing. M.Russell Hume made it so easy for me to sell my house. He's very efficient and answered my queries promptly. He also reminded me to get the documents ready prior to the open home. Russell and the photographer came on a Friday and the following Monday my property was listed, one open home on Saturday and the next day I had great offers. The biggest thing for me was the fact that I only needed to prepare for 1 half-hour open home, which was stressful enough for the tidying and cleaning up with 3 school age children. H.Deciding on using Total Realty was easy. Looking for the right agent took a tiny bit more time. I went on the website and looked at everyone's write-up and was impressed by Rachel Cox's Bio so emailed her. We were not disappointed as Rachel was super friendly, personable and easy to deal with. Along side this, she ended up obtaining for us an absolutely amazing offer. We couldn't believe that we ended up achieving up and above anything we had hoped for with her help. J.I sold two houses with Total Reality over a 8 month period. We had a false start on the first one as there was pile damage found on the building inspection report causing the sale to fall through. We pivoted to sell the other house which was sold after the first open home. f.The service was great nothing was a problem and the whole process was handle for us which made the process a lot less stressful. Even little hiccups such as lockdowns and our initial problem of our floor needing additional EQC work. From january the house was first on the market and a conditional offer picked up the house was out of level so we needed to get the house relevelled to sell.
Diane kept communication during this stressful process for us and made it alot easier to get the house fixed and back on the market again.
Even through the house being back on the market during lockdown she made private house viewings during level 3 every day for a week and a half to get enough people through the home.
We are extremely thankful we chose Total Reality and we have achieved a great purchase price in the end.

We got a multiple offers from the first open home and got it sold withing a month. We had to go thru process of ID varification, even do our building report and so on, but it was worth it and we get a better price then we has expected. Would highly recommend Tony to sell your property.
Only thing to improve would be a better way to keep communication and be available over the phone, other then emails...

S.From start to finish I found Phil Cooper (in Nelson) excellent to deal with. He was prompt, professional and effective (sale at a price I was happy with). Since I was an out of town seller I relied on Phil to pick up keys, appraise the property, liaise with carpet cleaners and house stagers, run the open homes and handle the hand over to new owners. I highly recommend that you list with Phil. Total Realty is a lower cost agency but not a low service one.

A.We sold our home from the UK and thought it was going to be torturous, but Mark knew what he was doing and made the process so easy. He was open and honest and let us know his recommended route for getting the best price, but left final choices in our hands. I believe because of Mark, the house sold for $100K more than I thought we were going to get.

M.Right from the initial contact Mark has been amazing. Selling our house was very challenging because of our terrible neighbours who sabotaged the open homes by playing very loud heavy metal music and eyeballing potential buyers as they arrived. Additionally, we had moved to Australia immediately after placing the house on the market, with the neighbours then using our property as a rubbish dump. Mark dealt with all this, going above and beyond by checking the property before open homes for bottles thrown over the fence. Additionally, Mark held open homes during the working week while the problem neighbours were at work. Mark also kept us constantly updated via email since we were living in Australia. He even checked that work done by contractors was completed to a high standard, something we could not check personally. This was an extremely difficult sale, but Mark did as promised and got the job done.
