P.We recently had the pleasure of dealing with the Nidd Realty Dunedin Property Management Team in our capacity as tenants of one of their rental properties. Both Rachael and Kathleen were excellent to communicate with, being friendly, approachable and entirely professional. Any issues were dealt with promptly and with consideration for our privacy as tenants. As a mature business couple who travel widely, we have dealt with numerous rental agents over the years and would say without a doubt that our experience with Nidd Realty was outstanding!

J.I've had Nidd Realty as our agents for our flat in 2021 and they have been really helpful in helping us deal with issues of the flat, especially with quick and helpful responses to emails and a guarantee on getting the job done. These are the perfect people to have if you're renting out a flat or if you're a tenant in the flat and they will help you with any problem you have. And they are also very nice and patient to us which is a must if you are dealing with students haha. These guys are legends and I wish them luck with their future clients. S.Nidd Realty managed the property I stayed at in Dunedin from June 2019 to July 2021. I rented a flat close to Otago University in Dunedin, and Nidd was by then the 3rd property management company tenants interacted with. Our primary contact/Property Manager was Nigel Stewart and I also dealt with Nidd's Rachael Bird, as Business Manager. Nigel and Rachel as individuals, and Nidd as property management company, were exceptional in all their interactions, communications and dealings. They were polite and kept to promises made. The building was well maintained, and they took care - even under the challenges of the pandemic and lockdowns - to check building maintenance and attend to repairs, of which there weren't many since the building is relatively new. Overdue rent generated kind reminders, never impolite or unkind. Prompt payment generated emails thanking tenants for their deposit. When my bathroom lock broke, the one major repair I had, Nidd immediately sent over a locksmith. A faulty front door lock was also replaced, and generally, emails received prompt responses. Not once was I disappointed with their service or professionalism. I can't speak for industry, or how it is generally, but Nidd's team in Dunedin are ambassadors for what appears to be a company that cares for tenants, invest in relationships and understand the market. If you get Nidd as your property manager, you're one of the lucky ones. Highly recommend the company, and, as individuals, Rachel and Nigel.

D.I have rented properties through NIDD several times while studying at Otago University, and every single time NIDD has proven itself an incredibly professional but caring company. It makes a world of difference to feel comfortable in your rental property, and everyone at NIDD goes the extra mile to help you feel secure. I convinced my friend to flat with me in a NIDD rental, and she was surprised to find that not all rental agents are bad! We had two major house issues, which were very quickly resolved and even when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the house (after office hours) we were able to contact NIDD and managed to get back inside within 30 minutes!
